[ THAT SURE IS A GLOVED HAND COVERING THE CAMERA but never fear, she figures it out after a moment and waves sheepishly. Exsilium, say hello to one half of your new magical girl duo. ]

Looks like there's been a bit of a problem, huh? Lucky for you guys, magical girl Sayaka is here to take care of everything! [ She holds her sword up with a grin, cape fluttering behind her. ] Just leave it to me! If anyone needs any help, I'll definitely be there straight away.

[A second later, another little magical girl face pops up. There's some fumbling around when she and Sayaka nudge shoulders and push together for room, and then she clears her throat and begins, nervously:]

If you say so...are all other magical girls this flashy?

[Mami-senpai had not mentioned it. She had also stressed the importance of keeping their magical girl personas a secret, but surely in this strange place, it wouldn't matter much, right? ...She hoped so.

Kyouko bows her head toward the camera politely, and speaks up a little louder.] Excuse me, everyone! I don't mean to be too forward, but...

[She straightens up a little, gets her game face on. She's holding a spear about twice her size, but it doesn't look like she's struggling to hold it.] We noticed there are a lot of kids around, and we want to help! So - please count on us! We'll help gather all of them up.

[A pause. She turns to Sayaka, and in a stage-whisper:] Did that sound cool enough?

You sounded fine! Geez, Kyouko, you worry too much.

[ ooc; tags will come from both in separate threads! edit: threadjacks are happening. feel free to action it up if you run into them anywhere in the hold, they will be all over. ]

[He stares into the camera lens, unsure of what to say.]

...I'm Kaworu.

[ She's clearly on the move, but that isn't affecting her energy levels at all — she smiles down at the netbook clutched in one hand, rain dripping from her hair. ]

I'm Sayaka. [ His name seems familiar, somehow, but she shrugs it off. ] How old are you? It's kinda weird that they'd bring kids here, but you'll be fine with us around.

I'm seven. [For a second, he wonders if he's heard that name before too, but he's certain he hasn't.] Who brought me here?

Seven? Geez, you're really young!

[ Sayaka Miki: queen of the obvious. ]

A lady told me we were here to help. [ It feels like she heard that a long time ago, but it has to be recent — right? ] I don't know who's responsible, but if they need something like that, bringing me was definitely the right choice!

[Here to help? That's a familiar explanation for him.]

With the Evangelion project?

[She doesn't look like any of the personnel he usually sees, though.]

Your clothes are cool.

It's all part of being a magical girl!

[ It makes her extra proud, too, since the design was her own choosing. But the second part gets a shake of her head. ]

We're not here for any kind of project, though. I guess you could call us warriors of justice.

Warriors of justice.....

[that gets a little smile out of him.]

I'll be a magical girl too then.

[ DON'T DO IT BRO ]

Ahaha... it's not really that simple. Kyuubey's the one who made us into magical girls, but he's not here right now. [ That, and there's the whole girl part. ] You can still be a warrior of justice, though. You've just gotta help people and do what's right.

Oh.

[his smile fades with a little disappointment. still, that stuff sounds familiar to him.]

Like helping the Lilim by getting rid of them because they're so unhappy. Right?

What the heck is a Lilim?

Oh. "Humans" is what they say.

Wait, what? Nobody's gonna get rid of any people! That's the complete opposite of what we do!

But they're always so sad and lonely. It's the right thing to do.

No way! [ More forcefully, this time. ] If someone's like that, then you should do something else about it. They probably just need some help.

Asking for help just makes them feel more sad, though. And they'll always be unhappy, anyway... It's easier and faster to just erase all the sadness at once, isn't it?

[That's what they told him. It made sense to Kaworu.]

[ Some part of her under the confident exterior is seriously unnerved. It can't be the influence of a witch, because she'd have detected it by now, so this is his own mind. ]

Why the hell would anyone think like that? [ ... Nobody said she was polite. ] Things aren't always easy, but that's why people like us exist. Just giving up is stupid.

[He seems to shrink back a little when he detects her anger. The Lilim tell him these things and then get mad at him about it. It doesn't make any sense.]

[ She simmers for a few more seconds, but eventually calms down. He's only a kid, so... maybe he's just got the wrong idea. It's the only answer she wants to believe. ]

... I don't know who told you that, but they're wrong. You shouldn't think that kind of stuff.

[His face becomes emotionless again but he looks away from the video. Kaworu's got a way of dealing with this situation. It's usually the case that he needs to depend on people who hate him.]

...Are you still going to come get me? It's okay. I'm not going to hit you or something.

Geez, I'm not gonna leave you alone because of something like that. [ Duh! Now she feels kind of bad. ] You've got the wrong idea, but you're only a kid. Maybe you've just been listening to the wrong kinds of people.

[Kaworu can't bring himself to believe her. Lilim seem to be very stupid to him. They're confusing.

But this one is very nice, even if she's another person he'll have to fight when he's grown up.]

Okay. I'm glad. For your help.

[ awh, that's better. Sayaka flashes a grin at the tablet before turning it off in order to travel faster — she's quick despite her inexperience, winding up outside his apartment after a few minutes. ]

Kaworu, right? It's Sayaka. [ The door isn't locked, so she reaches in with one gloved hand and waves, before pushing it open all the way. She's holding a taiyaki in her other hand, freshly 'borrowed' from Kyouko's gigantic stash. ] How long have you been in here?

[ She's actually kind of concerned, even if she maintains a happy demeanor. Who the hell leaves a kid just sitting in the apartment alone? ]

[He's waiting by the door. When she walks in, he stares up at her blankly. Up close, it's apparent that the gown he's wearing is basically a cloth bag draped over his shoulders.]

Yes. Thank you for coming, Sayaka-san.

[The shape of the taiyaki catches his attention for a moment, but he has no idea what it is.]

Will we go?

[ Wow, dude, she's gotta find you something better to wear. She frowns momentarily, but gives him a pat on the head to try and be reassuring. ]

Yeah, we're going. I found a place to take everyone. [ Picking him up at this point might be a bit sudden, so instead she holds out the taiyaki with a grin. ] Here. There'll be more food when we get there, but I figured I'd bring you something.

[ Which, by the looks of things, was a good decision. ]

[He doesn't know how to react to the physical touching when she pays his head, so he seems to have no reaction at all. Taking the taiyaki, he marvels at its cute fish shape again before taking a careful bite.]

Okay.

[chew, chew.]

I'm ready. None of my things are in this room, so I have nothing to take before we go.
