Vampires can go days without drinking blood. Though, you won't like us when we're hungry. [ Unless they go into a hibernation, but even then, they're frenzied when they awaken. ]

A minimum of one liter. That said, we've been known to get... greedy.

So almost double what's safe for a person to donate all at once. Okay! Then if you don't need blood every day, you'll need at least two people at once so they're healthy, too, and like... however many a month so they all stay healthy!

( Vampire math is not something she ever figured she'd be doing. Somehow her own estimates make sense to her, based on what she knows of safe donation amounts and general recovery times. )

You know, that's true! And I've yet to hear about magically healing away blood-loss. I mean, think about it, and how we make blood! I thought magic usually just stopped the dying thing.. and maybe made it easier to heal. Of course, there's other things that would make the whole healthy donor part of that not matter, so...
