[ On the screen stands a young looking woman in regal red, bright garments. The device is placed at a distance so that the feed can transmit her entire body, and she looks vaguely amused. She gestures with her hand at the surrounding areas, and the slight smile on her face nearly drops entirely. ]

Yet this land I stand upon... Truly, how times have made this land that I once knew as Britannia to fall so low. It is a tragic sight, to think that it was once a part of my Empire, but I get the feeling that the world beyond the Moon Cell is exactly as how this place appears to be. Why, it does not feel as though I have left my own realm at all.

[ And at that, her eyes narrow and glisten with a sharp look. ]

But I know this is not the case. This... Initiative has torn me apart from my Master, and that is a sin I cannot forgive, despite how courteous they were to my presence and readily answering my queries. Hah! Then again, perhaps my situation is punishment for the sin of defeating a misguided Savior to leave the world as is. Yet I do not regret my actions one bit.

So tell me, those who came before, how goes this war that we are all unceremoniously made to participate in?

Not really. They keep bringing more people here, but... [ She wants to see the results of their missions, not just be told that it's had some vague, almost unnoticeable effect. The frustration is written all over her face. ] We're supposed to be helping.

[ Bad enough the Initiative is summoning them all to fight for a war they're gunning for, but to no reap the spoils... ]

War isn't constantly made of action and battle, but even so, those moments are rare and are ephemeral in their length. We will all have our time for glory, rest assured.

[ She sends an easy, confident smile at the girl over the feed before asking: ] Aside from training, what else is there to do around this island?

[ She doesn't look entirely convinced, but it's a start. ]

Not a lot. There's a marketplace, and last month there was some kinda party, but... [ She shrugs. ] If you ask, sometimes they send you back in time to do stuff. I don't know how much it helps, but it's gotta do something.

[ Despite her earlier spiel about never seeing any results, she has to hold onto some kind of hope. Even if it's just a tiny difference, it's better than nothing. ]

Hmm. The smallest change within the past could create a ripple that becomes a wave as time changes itself to accommodate the shores of our present. Still, to intervene with the murky waters of time would take some effort, and impatience in seeing change could easily prove fatal.

I don't really understand how it works, but things aren't so great here. If it makes any kind of difference, then I'll do it. [ Not like she's new to fucking things over... ]

True, I can survive for a time without a Master, but if this Initiative truly wishes to make full use of my glorious capabilities, then I will have need for a Master to provide me with magic.

... Not exactly. I didn't even know it existed until recently. [ She shifts, looking a little restless. ] Once I found out, I started using it to help people.

[ She hesitates, but figures it's easier to show than tell. A hand extends, cutlass materializing in her grip. ]

Just stuff like that. My healing's really good, too.
