[ On the screen stands a young looking woman in regal red, bright garments. The device is placed at a distance so that the feed can transmit her entire body, and she looks vaguely amused. She gestures with her hand at the surrounding areas, and the slight smile on her face nearly drops entirely. ]

Yet this land I stand upon... Truly, how times have made this land that I once knew as Britannia to fall so low. It is a tragic sight, to think that it was once a part of my Empire, but I get the feeling that the world beyond the Moon Cell is exactly as how this place appears to be. Why, it does not feel as though I have left my own realm at all.

[ And at that, her eyes narrow and glisten with a sharp look. ]

But I know this is not the case. This... Initiative has torn me apart from my Master, and that is a sin I cannot forgive, despite how courteous they were to my presence and readily answering my queries. Hah! Then again, perhaps my situation is punishment for the sin of defeating a misguided Savior to leave the world as is. Yet I do not regret my actions one bit.

So tell me, those who came before, how goes this war that we are all unceremoniously made to participate in?

More like this is a Cold War.

The Initiative doesn't - they claim can't - fight United Earth directly. So we do weird crap with time travel or something. I haven't been called for that yet, so all I've had is a solstice party thing and a zombie apocalypse.

Which I missed, due to being turned into a mindless zombie under the control of... Well, someone. Not sure who yet, as evidenced by the fact that they are still alive and generally of good mental faculties.

[ Well! At least that gives more details as to what kind of things happen around here instead of just being considered "attacks." ]

With the way things are upon this island, a frontal assault would spell a quick end no matter the individuals that comprise the army. It seems the Initiative favor roundabout tactics, biding their time, and gathering information and resources, which is a favorable decision. [ Though Saber keeps it to herself that it'd be dreadfully boring. ] Though it appears the danger comes to us, so I doubt we will be without entertainment for long.

Well, it has a few times.

But some suspect those aren't United Earth, but other transports.

[ That actually makes Saber snort. ]

Dissent within our ranks isn't a surprise. The Initiative has a haphazard way of picking their recruits, so I would expect a few unscrupulous transports to be found. Have the identities of these errant transports been known?

Not yet, to my greatest annoyance.

Zombies and other troubles and...

Well, it'd be nice to actually get to have some fun, rather than worrying for my safety or having to focus on gathering information, you know?

[ Smirks. ]

They seem obsessed with the timeline of their own.

It is a timeline I am familiar with, but a thousand years are added to the date from which I came from.

Yeah. This isn't my world at all, so.

It's honestly rather annoying, but what can you do, other than try to enjoy as many different people as you can while you're stuck here?

I certainly would find joy in sharing cultures amongst each other, though you seem woefully bored of the prospect in either case.

Oh, no. I actually do rather like the idea of getting to get bits of other world's stories. What sensible Bard wouldn't?

I'm just frustrated with... Well, many of the other elements of this place.

And those would be?

This place is darned near a desolate wasteland. While they're willing to use a lot of what they have to, for example, revive dead people to aid them using powerful and expensive spells, they leave us to our own devices in a pretty bleak place where there is often all too little to do.

We've clearly got at least some crazies with us.

Triple apartments make getting real privacy difficult if you don't use a cheat. Fortunately I have something... But it's hardly usable for now.

And... Well, yeah. There's a lot, to say the least.

Which sucks.

Hmph - trivial things in the grand scheme of it all, though I would agree this island we are made to stay on could use more furnishings. Either you make do with what you are given, or wallow in the sin of sloth.

Or you start getting plots together for how to get more. That's always a path.

Thievery? Do not be so quick to assume I would go to such lows to obtain even the smallest morsel of comfort.

That'd work too. Or exploiting the ruins.
