Greetings, everyone.

[The voice is one of a young man, and one who seems rather calm about his situation, or at least, is attempting to remain calm. He seems to have a careful sort of control over his emotions at the moment at the least. The boy is quiet at first, as if trying to remember just what he wanted to say, or perhaps just how to say it correctly.]

I pray that someone who hears this can assist me. I've been properly debriefed, as it was, but the personal insight of others would be far more desirable for this situation. If I am to remain here and help, then that seems to be the place to start. It was perhaps not the most ...convenient of times, but if assistance is needed and I can provide it, then I will.

[He drops into silence with a quiet sigh, letting it build for a short while, as if waiting. When he does speak again his voice is warm once more, the calm returning.]

[He debated offering his title for a moment and for those potentially native to Azeroth it shows in how he trailed off. Something lingered in the final words but went unsaid. After a moment he picks up that slack with a moderately cheerful and patient voice.]

At least it seems a relaxed way to learn. And I would imagine this device is incredibly useful at times!

[He pays close attention to his words here, thoughtful for a moment or so before speaking.]

So many strange places overlapping here. I've never heard of it ..but my own home is the Kingdom of Stormwind.

It is! If only for the ability to converse with people who are hundreds of miles away. And not have to use hawks!

[He nods.] Kingdom of Stormwind. Does that make you their king?

[Small smile.]

Hawks and couriers have a lot of legwork to do when the mail needs to be delivered, don't they?

[He shakes his head, still smiling.]

No. That honor falls to my father. Someday, I will be a king but I still have a lot to learn.

They do. I am glad they get a break, with this thing. [He laughs.]

So you're a prince! That is a tough thing to be, I know.

[A trace wistfully.] I almost wish we could have things like this back home.

[Have a sheepish, but proud smile.]

It is, but the stress of being the King will ever be harder, with far more responsibilities, right? so many decisions to make that affect so many people.

Perhaps one day you will! I hope that for my kingdom, as well.

[He smiles.]

Yes. It is, and you never feel ready for the responsibility that comes with it. [Because he doesn't know if he feels ready for it, still.]

My advice... enjoy the freedom you have now. It will be hard to come by, later on.

Do you think that would put the mailhawks out of work?

[Tilting his head, trying (and failing) to hide a small, teasing grin.]

Yes, I ...understand that. I don't think I will ever be ready, not fully.

[But that advice will be taken to heart. Someday he'll have time to have fun. The words make sense though, looking back at everything Varian has to accomplish. It's daunting just thinking about the sheer amount of work a King sees to.]

Yes, your Majesty, I will do my best in that respect.

Perhaps, but would anyone really be that disappointed? [He teases back with a grin.]

I think you will do well! If you are already worrying about it, then you can get that out of the way, before the true work begins.

[He gives a bow of his head.] That is all you can do, your Majesty.
