Greetings, everyone.

[The voice is one of a young man, and one who seems rather calm about his situation, or at least, is attempting to remain calm. He seems to have a careful sort of control over his emotions at the moment at the least. The boy is quiet at first, as if trying to remember just what he wanted to say, or perhaps just how to say it correctly.]

I pray that someone who hears this can assist me. I've been properly debriefed, as it was, but the personal insight of others would be far more desirable for this situation. If I am to remain here and help, then that seems to be the place to start. It was perhaps not the most ...convenient of times, but if assistance is needed and I can provide it, then I will.

[He drops into silence with a quiet sigh, letting it build for a short while, as if waiting. When he does speak again his voice is warm once more, the calm returning.]

[He debated offering his title for a moment and for those potentially native to Azeroth it shows in how he trailed off. Something lingered in the final words but went unsaid. After a moment he picks up that slack with a moderately cheerful and patient voice.]

"Haven't heard of that one. It in the Dominion or one of the Earth colony worlds? Or no wait. Probably one of those other worlds that this place gets linked to."

I believe so, yes. It's still a lot to take in, the idea of so many ...places linked.

"Universe is a weird place and I figure one of the brains here probably has it figured out. All over my head though."

What makes you say that?

"Seen my share of the universe, not all of it, but enough. Seen billions die and couldn't stop it. Seen horrible people do horrible things and no one try to stop them other than people that were worse and had worse agendas. Also know I ain't the brightest sort out there. All of it points to a weird or a mad universe, and I'd like to just think its weird."

I would much rather think of it as weird than mad, personally. At least that way it offers a little more hope.

"My thoughts too. Cause if we don't have hope, what do we have, right?"

Of course, as you wish, Jim. Now, if I may ask a question? Can you tell me anything more about this place, based off of what you've learned in your short time here?

"People are here because of a civil war gone wrong, seems the other side is really damn authoritarian and not friendly. Ecosystem is shot and they don't got a lot in the line of terraforming gear. Got lots of weapons but I haven't seen any missions out in the few weeks I was here."

I see...

It's still a lot to come to terms with.

"Ain't too different from where I come from actually, just seems a bit more disorganized and there are fewer monsters tryin to claw your face off."

[Soft chuckle.]

That sounds about like Azeroth as well.

What sort of monsters does your world hold?

"Ever hear of the zerg? Creepy purple things that infest local populations and eat what they can't infest. Leave this crap all over the ground so you can tell where they are but other than that you generally see them right about the time they're too damn close for shooting to be effective."

I've never heard of these ...zerg, but they sound unpleasant and horrible.

"Yeah, kind of are. Seen whole colonies get turned into crazy exploding zombie things. Seen them turn someone into a monster that slaughtered planets."

That's terrible! Is there any way to stop them for good?

"Can't say I know. Only know one person who would know and we ain't exactly on speakin terms."

Oh, I see.

"Then again, I can't rightly say its all her fault either. That's the root of the mess I was tryin to clean up before I ended up here. What can you do though?"

Wait, I suppose. From what I've heard and read shortly some are ...sent back?

"Can't say as I know, that and sittin around doin nothing has never been my strong suit."
