This time, however, the walls behind him are scrawled with charred sigils and there's the residual feeling of magic in the air. Someone - likely the devil himself, but could be anyone! - has recently cast a spell here. If this is a concern to Lucifer, he doesn't make it known. Instead, the camera hovers in front of him as he looks thoughtful.]

This inquiry is directed to individuals with more than five senses. If you can't sense magic, then you can go do something else if you want.

To those who know when the fabric of the universe is being messed with, please continue.

[He clears his throat and wipes ash off his hands.]

At the masquerade, someone was messing around with time. If, my friendly time-messer, you are listening to this, you should let me know. I don't think you will, but just to put that out there.

If you have any other ideas on who is messing with time, I'd love to hear them. And everyone, I imagine. As we're all hostages together, it's important for us to have a greater understanding of what we can do, so we can get things done together.

I guess you're right, but I was speaking specifically. An "messing with time" within a greater messing with time, if you will. I don't care about the teleporting to Versailles. I do care about the event that happened at Versailles.

Though my personal hypothesis is that the Versailles we visited was pocket dimension, more or less.

By the way, are there any other thrones for the taking? Could use one myself.

It's nothing to do with magic. The fabric of spacetime was manhandled in a very thoughtless way and its repercussions are probably still being felt. I can't tell you who did it, but I can tell you that it was localised to Versailles and that such a key point was altered that it was clearly a deliberate and premeditated choice. It may very well undo some of what the Initiative has been trying to do.

FIrst off, you can do that with magic, and my hunch is that it was done that way - though I'm sure you could also have a biological ability to do it or the advanced technology to accomplish the same task. It's really all the same. Semantics.

I was wondering whether the entity did it in Versailles for the attention - or lack thereof by the Initiative or the United Earth - or because it was the ideal location. I think both, though.

Though I can't say I care if the Initiative goals are accomplished at all, to be honest.

Also, you look much less possessed than the last time we spoke.
