Ranka? Sorry I disappeared all of a sudden after Christmas. I hope you weren't worrying or anything. I dunno if... I mean, I probably won't be home for a while. So just... don't worry. About that.

Everybody else - I mean, like, anybody who knows me and could do me a favor, like... Could you come and talk to Mia Fey? 'cause I need - what's it? - character witnesses. Like, people who've known me for a while who would maybe...

[The next words are mumbled as he looks down at his hands:]

...come and testify at a trial.

True. Though, I have to admit, this is the first time I've ever seen a lawyer advise their client to publicly ask for character witnesses.

There's a whole lotta shit getting thrown together in like zero time. I mean I got arrested yesterday and they're putting me on trial tomorrow. I mean, you ever heard of it going down like this? 'cause it totally ain't like how it works where I come from.

Never. And I've sat in a lot of cases and testified in more. They don't believe in innocent until proven guilty here, do they?

Twenty-four hours is not enough time to gather evidence even if you did do it. This is unfair.
