[ After much hesitation on his part to address the situation towards those who hold some sort of power here, Aragorn finally decides to step forward and do just that. He honestly believes himself ill fit for such a public role, but he shan't step back and watch from the sidelines anymore.

This may come as a shock for his companions who hail from Middle-earth. Aragorn was hardly the type to step forward and lead, but usually the one forced to lead when no others would. ]

I am Aragorn son of Arathorn, and like many of you I've been drafted by the Initiative. Like you and countless others, we've been taken from our realms in order to fight a war not our own.

[ He finally stated once he realized that the tablet was recording. Aragorn possessed very little love for this means of communication, but for now he'll stomach it. Over time he'll realize just how useful these complex devices truly are but until then, he'll simply think of it as a nuisance. ]

We fight for a nameless cause, yet we're given very little initiative to fight on their behalf. While the rebels had been more than...adequate hosts; it would seem that many of us haven't fully explored this world or understand the reason of our plight. Our realms are in jeopardy by a force greater than our own, yet we know very little about our objective.

Therefore, I seek to know more about the efforts taken to achieve the Initiative's goal, and hopefully form a way for us to further our quest.

[ He paused briefly. ]

Is there anyone here willing to speak openly?

Since you already know of my name, I shall speak loosely of my origins. I'm ranger hailing from the west, one of the few of Numenorean blood.

Do you have any abilities.. beyond normal people?

[ A smirk lingers upon his face as he regards this curious fellow. ]

I do believe you're supposed to be answering one of my questions now.

My previous question about the Initiative has yet to be answered. What have you seen of them and what do you know?

How vague.

They operate underground. The people here- the citizens are almost entirely clueless of their existence.

Clueless, are they? How so? I would believe that the Initiative would have a strong presence here in Exsilium.

After all this is their home, is it not?

Besides "will" alone, I possess no true power or magic of any kind.

The Initiative are strong. They use subtly, influence. They don't feel the need to show off.

They're trying to change the United Earth, the people who live there. Exsilium. They bring people like us here, puppets. Make us dance for them.

What made you a better ranger than the others?

Puppets? [ His distaste for that word is quite evident. ] Do you truly believe that they view us as mere pawns? I'm incline to think not considering the desperation of their plight. Despite all their strength, the Initiative cannot match the same might as the United Earth.

[ He almost forgets to answer the man's question. ]

...I listened to the lull of the land and scoured the frontier for years. Not many could state that they've watched the rise and fall of great kingdoms throughout this age of endless discord.

We fight their wars, they don't offer much in return. They pull us here whether we want to come or not. Give us weapons, let us go. They expect results. Doesn't that sound like puppets to you?

How old are you?

Nay, it sounds more as if they're merely desperate at best.

[ He frowns at that question. ]

[ Yep, he's all frowns now. ]
