[Well, here's Eridan; with the way he's got the camera positioned it shows him leaning back against his chair with his feet up on the table he's got the tablet on showing off his kickass new shoes. An open book rests in his lap and he's got a neat little cup of tea resting on a separate little table beside him. All gifts he got for Christmas.]

So, this whole "Kriss-mess" [Still pronouncing that wrong...] thing.

[Picks up his cup...]

Apparently some people took it upon themselwes to gift me for it. Most a' you picked some good stuff, too. Book's good. Tea's good.

[Closing his eyes, he sips some tea, then puts the cup down and opens his eyes again.]

I think the whole holiday's bullshit though, sooo...don't expect a gift back or nothin'.

He contemplates giving her the wine Takegami got him if only...well, they talk, right? He might find out. Then she'd find out it was a last minute thing. Damn.]

[Eventually she shows up, knocking on the door before just sort of.. reaching out and turning the handle. It's not locked, so she pops her head in through the gap.]

Merry Christmas Eridan!

[Coming in and shutting the door behind her, none the wiser to Eridan's late gift grabbing plans, she skips on over to him, holding out a bag which contains his gifts. It's a nice winter hat and a set of matching gloves! And a copy of a book which is basically Harry Potter but called something else.]

[He...doesn't really care about the clothing, NGL, but the book kind of catches his attention. It's okay because it's fiction and fiction is fake like magic is and that makes it okay.

Totally.

Anyway, he sets the bag aside and holds out his other hand to her, which has a rather small wrapped gift of some sort? I mean, whatever it is is small enough to fit in the palm of his hand and he appears to have just wrapped the gift itself, there's no packaging.

Actually opening it reveals it's a ring ~~SUSPICIOUSLY LIKE HIS?~~ except the gem on it is lighter and pinker ~~ALMOST TYRIAN WHOA NO ROXY YOU'RE CRAZY DON'T THINK THAT~~ no it's totally one of the older rings he used to wear when he was Feferi's moirail.]

I hope it's okay, it's - I mean, jewelery an' stuff is sorta a thing for seadwellers. Especially giwin' 'em to quadrantmates. Y'know. Like giving each other stuff like this ain't too much of a big deal so if...this looks weird or anythin' from a human perspectiwe or whatewer don't get the wrong idea. I wasn't sure what the deal was there or...y'know.

I didn't really hawe time to ask. If you don't like it or... it ain't your thing that's totally fine too.

She's opening up the gift as he starts explaining, a huge smile growing as she realises what it is. She doesn't think on it any further than 'it is a ring' and 'it is a nice ring', immediately putting it on one of her fingers. It even fits perfectly!]

Actually we do have a human thing where guys give rings to their girlfriends you know? It means they want to get married and stay together forever, it's totally legally binding an everything. Which is what you just did, so....
