Titans, this is Robin! Come in! Beast Boy? Cyborg? Raven? Starfire? Can any of you hear me?

[Robin stares down at the communication device he's been given and frowns. His normal communication device isn't working. Nothing about this place seems familiar.]

My name is Robin, and I'm a leader of the Titans. I'm trying to find the rest of my teammates and figure out what's going on here.

[Looks around while he's talking into the device. They have to be here somewhere. One way or another he'll find them and the answers he's looking for.]

If anyone has information on their locations or this place,I need you to share it with me. You'll have my gratitude and I'll share whatever I learn in return.

And apparently you'll be staying with Star and I.

Raven. [nods to her.] Good, the Titans need to stick together.

[Raven nods back in greeting.]

Speedy is here too.

[And no, she ain't gonna mention Red X, for now.]

How long have you been here for?

Four days. Star was here for a couple more days. And Speedy arrived yesterday.

I'll be at the apartment soon. [Right now is tangled up with Star. Looks over his communication device.] Is there a way to make the feed private?

Yeah. Hold on a second.

[You're lucky she did ask Equius before. But of course she'd ask that... Because Raven like her privacy just as much or maybe even more than Robin does.]

[She has a vague idea what or rather who you want to talk about...]

[Feels better knowing their conversation can't be monitored. Then again, they didn't create these devices. They were given them by the people here.]

What do you make of this place so far?

I've been to the city library. [Library = Raven magnet ^^;] Apparently what the welcoming committee told us is true. This is Earth, roughly a millenium and three hundreds years ahead of our time.

The Initiative is keeping secret the way they're bringing us here. Probably because it'd be possible for us to use the same way to go back to where we come from. The technology they're using is rather advance.

The Initiative seems interested in people with special abilities, fighters mostly but maybe intellectuals too [Thinking of that guy she met, Martin. Definitely not a fighter.] who might be able to help them win over the government in place.

I didn't have time to explore the place yet, the city and its suburbs, but I think it'd be useful to do it as soon as possible.

[She's not been idle, has she?]

[Wouldn't expect anything less from her. Makes notes as he listens to all of the information that she shares with him.]

We're a long way from home but we'll find a way back. [Has that usual determined look of his in his eyes...that can somehow be picked up through his mask.]

They're not doing a very good job of showing us we can trust us. They want us to fight for them but they want to keep important secrets from us? [Shakes his head.] I'm planning on doing some exploration sooner than later.

We kinda have too. [A slight smirk.] If we let Cyborg and Beast Boy alone at the Titans Tower for too long, they'll turn it into an arcade or something.

[She nods at his next comment.] Well the fact that they don't discriminate good guys from villains among their recruits is quite telling too.

Let's start tomorrow, then. We could make groups of twos. Pretty sure Star and Speedy will be up for it too.

What weapon did you choose by the way? Bo-staff?

If they haven't already. I wonder why I never noticed Starfire or you disappear. [Time travel can be a very strange thing. When Starfire went to the future, barely any time passed for the rest of the Titans.]

Exactly, and that's a good idea. Is there an imposed curfew here?

[Nods.] What about you? They told me they can enhance abilities people already have. [Suspects that's the route she went.]

Probably because we're already back. In a way. [She pauses.] We're not all from the same timepoint Robin. And if what Star and Speedy [And Red X] told me is anything to go by, you all saw me do things I haven't actually done yet. For me... the end of the world has not happened yet. [Pretty sure he'll see what she means if he's from her future.]

Not that I know of. They seem pretty intent on convincing us that this is not a prison and that we can live a normal life here.

A spell book. [Which is a side way of enhancing her powers. And a way to keep a better control over them too.]

[He shouldn't be surprised to hear this, given that time traveling is involved, but he still is.]

You don't remember anything that's happened from that time and beyond? We've had a lot happen since that time, but it sounds like you've been filled in on it.

Only about the part involving Trigon. I don't even know what became of Slade afterwards.

Speedy mentioned defeating the Brotherhood of Evil too.

But that's about it. ...Sounds like we've got a lot to talk about, huh?

That said I have some memories of another place. A place where none of you guys were with me. It's called Adstringendum. Feels like I spent a long time there. [Missing her teammates.] But I remember Slade was there at some point too. Hopefully he hasn't followed me here.

[It's unsettling that Raven doesn't know what happened during her birthday. Looks at her through the video. The two of them have a special bond already, she's looked inside of his mind and hasn't abused any of the memories she saw. He's come to trust all of the team and showed them something very personal that was inside of his briefcase. Raven's become like a sister to him.]

Do you want to see what happened during and shortly after your birthday?

You remember that mission during which we went into space, were attacked by some ugly monster and got separated? That's the last thing I remember from home.

[She pauses at his question. Robin... He knows her better than anyone and has more faith in her than she does herself. And vice versa. He's her best friend and only he would offer something like that. And know what it means to her.]

What happens after my birthday? [A nod.] I'd like that, yes. [Even if she most likely won't like what she'll see.]

We should do that once you've settled in. And find some quiet place too.

[A pause.]

I'm glad you're here, Robin.

I'm glad you're here too and safe, Raven. [Can only imagine what would happen if Slade or her father were here. Can't see that going well, especially if her birthday hasn't come to pass.]

You can view the memories from that day in my mind. [One of the few people he trusts to peek inside of his mind and only look at the memories he's giving her permission to see.]

We'll do that.

[A small smile.] See you home, then.
