Second Feather | Voice

[Rinoa's voice is quiet, even pensive as she starts to talk over the communicator. It's just talking this time too, which is a rage change because she's more of a video format type of girl. Only she's got a lot on her mind and she doesn't want to bother people, so voice only it is.]

I know new people seem to arrive here all the time, but... do people leave often?

[She continues to talk, but her voice is even softer now, her mind obviously on things aside from her broadcast.]

With everything that's happened, there's no way he's here. I would have heard from him by now if he was here, this just isn't like him.

[Then after a few moments of silence the transmission ends.]

[Lloyd wasn't expecting a response like that so he has to think for a minute.]

Well, yeah, I'm pretty sure I am. But usually if you're talking about one of your friends or something, you use their name.

[Oh he so very wants to scoff at the idea of you being a "friend", Lloyd B| ]

But what if she doesn't know you? Then that'd just be confusing.

[But he is! It's not like he ever stabbed you or anything!]

Yeah, but if you say that's one of your friends, then she'll know who you're talking about.

[...It makes sense in his head. Really.]

[His stomach says otherwise.]

Sounds like a waste of time to me.

It's not a waste of time! I'd call you Zelos if I was talking about you!

[That name. of COURSE Lloyd would go spouting it out. Goddess you piss him off :| ]

You know, how about you don't talk about me? Hm?

Huh? Why not? If you come up, that's just the normal thing to do.

Because what could there possibly be to discuss with other people about me? Just leave me outta it- I don't wanna be bothered.

What if I tell somebody something you told me and they wanna know who told me? And how is that bothering you if you aren't around?

[ughhhh. He makes a slight annoyed sound]

Just leave me alone.

Huh? You're acting really weird, Zelos. Did something happen?

[That is such a loaded question Lloyd, you have no idea. There's almost a hesitation in what he says, for there's so many paths to take. He could lie, just say he's messing with him- but he can't take it anymore.]

[He could say the truth, that he is not worth talking about because he is a traitor. A traitor that Lloyd was right not to trust and to stop being around. That he never truly blamed Lloyd for what transpired, not really. He had simply been beyond saving]

[But Zelos was never good at facing things. Running was what he did best. And right now? Anger seemed the best way to do that. And so, he'll blurt out, taking advantage of the fact he doesn't have to see the look on Lloyd's face while doing so]

Oh yeah, something sure did alright.

Now get lost.

[And since he knows you won't? He's signing off his tablet, turning it off and chucking it aside and immediately putting his hands in his head, regretting. This...could've gone better.]

Wh-what? Wait, what are you talking about?!

[Lloyd stares at the tablet for a while. About a minute or so later, he's gotten too bored of waiting to keep it up, so off goes his tablet, too.

Something is definitely up with Zelos. He needs to check this out so he can help him! Maybe he could find his room or something...]

Wait! So you mean your name isn't "Some Guy"?

[Don't mind her, she couldn't resist the urge to get some teasing in.]

It was a joke. I knew your name wasn't really Some Guy, Lloyd. At least, I was pretty sure it wasn't anyway.

[She's trying so hard not to laugh at him right now.]

I'm not sure if there can be a name weirder than Some Guy, but if I think I've found one I'll let you know.
