[Cue video feed... now.
Korra's shown standing outside the Hold in the rain, appearing rather intent on something. In her free hand sits a snowball. Where it came from is anyone's guess, since there's not any snow to be found in the city, at least nothing natural. She looks at the screen now. When she speaks, her tone is al business.]
Recently, as basically all of us know, things have been-- for lack of a better term-- depressing. Masquerade aside, I mean. No offense.
Back home, I'm from the South Pole. There's snow there all the time, which makes it really easy to find stuff to do. You can build with it, throw it, eat it, sleep in it, and more. The possibilities are pretty numerous, and I for one, miss it.
Now, for those deprived people who don't know what snow is, let me show you.
[She holds her hand towards the camera, showing off the aforementioned snowball.]
This is snow in a snowball. It's basically frozen water, not quite ice yet. Snowballs are very, very fun. You may be asking why that is, and that's a perfectly valid question. Again, let me show you.
[The camera turns to show Korra hurling the snowball at a random passerby, hitting them square in the back of the head with a startled yell. Now, back to Korra.]
Starting a snowball fight is a good way to make friends or annoy people who have no sense of fun. There'd be more potential if we actually had snow. This is where we can come in. I want to know if anyone here can control or manipulate water. Get enough of us, and we could set up pretty neat place.
So, anyone in?

[ Kougyoku takes her hairpin out and as soon as she starts chanting, an eight-pointed star glows on the red gem encrusted in it. ]
O spirit of sorrow and isolation... [ The rain gathers around her and soon, she has streams of water spiraling around her. The water soon forms a drill, which she directs at the ground away from them. It creates a huge splash! ]

[Korra stomps a foot, and a good sized chunk of rock shoots up from the street, leaving a crater. The boulder, or what might as well be one, floats there as she holds out her arm. She pauses for effect before punching at it, splitting it into smaller sections, then guiding those back into where it originated.]

It's just like magic! More, more! Can you do fire next? I wonder if there's heat rukh around...

[Without skipping a beat, she curls her fingers on both hands to form two fists, which she sharply aims at the ground. Immediately fire shoots from them with enough force to launch her into the air. Once she's at a decent height, she cuts the fire from her hands, and aims a kick to the side. Flames spout from her foot to move her towards the wall of the Hold where she crouches briefly before shoving off towards the ground. A few feet from the earth, she repeats the trick with her hands to soften the impact, and she lands nicely back where she started.]

You used fire to launch yourself up in the sky! Oh, that's a wonderful technique! [ Maybe Alibaba can do that with his Djinn Equip, too. ]
Then, the last must be air? I'd... really love it if you could show me what you can do with it. It reminds me of our first battle by the seaside - that look in his eyes and the wind in his hair... [ Kougyoku holds her cheeks as she reminisces about her first love. Don't mind her, Korra. She's always like this. ]
