[Is it wrong to assume this guy's a Fanalis > Morgiana trained under him > he must want her to get home? That's how it works out in his world more or less.]

Masrur? No..Hes not my benefactor. Someone else is. Hes..dead though. [From a certain dungeon clearing incident which she would not talk about because it brought back bad memories.]

Before he passed on I promised him I would finish my goal to return to my homeland. [And Morgiana is going to do everything in her power to keep that promise.] It would of been nice if I could see your world..It sounds..[She struggles for the word, face blank.] Nice.

[Ah... It's pretty bad that her benefactor's dead, and with that promise she's got a long road ahead. She seems pretty determined to do it though - something Hilbert respects and admires a lot.]

I'm sorry he's not with you anymore. You'll definitely make it to your homeland though, once everything's good here, and I wish I could see it with you. It sounds beautiful. [And he grins a little, gently.] As for mine... I actually have a map on me, if you want to see it sometime.

If it's alright would you want to meet? And not just talk in this..uhm..video? [Her eyebrows furrowed together as she tries to remember the word.] I would like to see this map up close. [And of course just hang out with Hilbert.]

I think that's what it called. I'm still not used to the magic in this world. It's all brand new to me. [By magic she meant the technology. Even though she had figured out how to get the video function to work all the other options were still confusing.]

[He is visibly excited you have no idea how happy this makes him.]

I'd love to meet! I'd feel kind of weird inviting you to my room, or going to your place, so... Let's grab something to eat too. I'm sure you're hungry trying to get used to all of this, and there are some neat restaurants despite the state of this place.

[Wow that's just really hazukashi you are going to make her blush again. Clearing her throat, she gives a nod and aims a small smile towards the pokemon trainer.] Oh.. Alright! I guess I am a little hungry. I live in unit 1103. So you can come and pick me up.

[omg HILBERT PLS. ~~Hakuryuu is going to gut you.~~] See you soon. [She sends the other another look before eventually turning off the video function.]

[~~Hakuryuu has to learn about this first.~~ Alright, his first date with a girl here! Hilbert is absolutely jolly as he checks to make sure he's got everything and sets off upstairs.

Even Eeks is in a good mood and doesn't mind waiting in its ball. But yeah, Hilbert will be very careful not to miss Morgiana's door and k n o c k cheerfully!

[If Morgiana had been able to read minds she would of turned really flustered. She of course could not do that and was completely oblivious to Hilbert's thoughts. To the fanalis this was just her meeting a new potential friend and nothing more. THE PLOT THICKENS.]

O-Oh..He got here pretty fast..[Maybe he lived more closer to her than she thought? With a twist of the doorknob she opened it up and was face to face with the excited face of Hilbert. She leaned back, giving him a nod in greeting.] H-Hello..[She murmured quietly. Her fingers idly dug into the ends of her simple beige dress, bare feet making their way out the door to which she closed behind her.] Let's go?

[He only lives two floors down! Hilbert tries to tone down his excitement and nods, leading the way. Morgiana's even prettier in person... and a little shorter than he imagined, but that's alright. All his girls were tall back home. ~~he's only a head taller than her roughly anyway it's cool~~]

Your hair's a really pretty red, Morgiana, especially off video. It kind of reminds me of what we call the Charizard Bridge between Driftveil and Nimbasa back home. Oh, Charizards are these big red dragons that are really strong and come from Kanto, a faraway region. They're amazing.

Oh..Uhm..Thank you. [And cue the slight embarrassed flush to her cheeks. Jesus Hilbert are you trying to make her blush on purpose?] A-A dragon? [She gave Hilbert a look of disbelief as if she couldn't believe it but she knew for a fact that stuff like that were a possibility. There were things in her own world that would of caused some to be baffled.] They must be magnificent to look at.

So a charizard is something one can catch? Have you ever tried to get one yourself?[She pretty much caught on with how stuff in his world worked to an extent. Morgiana pondered on the idea of how it would be to have a pokemon herself. She would want one that would be strong, just like her. And have agility to jump super high.]

[He is, actually! He's ~interested~ in her and this is how he flirts--]

I haven't. Charizard are only sights in Unova, though there's a really famous one that belongs to a legendary Trainer in Kanto. That guy's name is Red and he took down a huge organization just because he happened to be in the right place at the right time. [He shrugs. Lucky guy, but Hilbert was chosen.] You actually have to have a Charmander first, which is kind of like the baby form of the Charizard, and as you battle it evolves. A Charmander's rare too, so rare that you can only get them as a Pokémon a beginner Trainer can get in Kanto - a starter Pokémon. There's... Ah, there's at least fifteen that I know of from my Pokédex... which I actually don't have with me. Guess I left it back home. You'd be a good fit for a Charizard though... I think a Mienshao from my region would definitely fit you more.

[With her hands clutched behind her back she listened intently to Hilbert's words with a look of childlike awe. It wasn't often that something caught her interest like this, but pokemon? His word? It definitely did.] Charmander? [They even had baby forms? Pokemon sure were interesting!]

In my world, we have certain people that are called 'Magi' They are very important. They have the power to pick a 'candidate' on who will be king of the country. [Sort of like a president.] I'm not very good at explaining the origins of how Magi's came to be. Aladdin could probably tell you more than I could. [Her eyes trail up to stare at the gloomy sky her face thoughtful.] I've been in a few battles before. Some were life and death situations. [The way she said it was as calm as one could be, eyes glancing back over at Hilbert.] Are you curious? [Surely a boy his age would want to know all about her fights and how they played out.]

[Whoa, that's intense... and when she asks if he's curious, he gives a firm nod.]

Of course! You're really interesting, Morgiana, I never would have thought before I met you that I'd be hearing any of this. Just don't force yourself if it gets too painful. [Because he noticed she was hesitant to talk about something earlier, see. He'll listen intently to all she has to say, genuinely curious about the strong girl.]

That's alright. I want to talk. [Most of her battles weren't very painful experiences at all. She pondered on how to start before speaking in a firm voice.] On my journey back to the Dark Continent, I met up with old friends who were merchants for food. So I decided to help them for a few days. When it was time to leave I was told that the route we had been originally going to walk through was impossible to get across because up ahead there was a camp of thieves. Very dangerous ones.

[As she walked her feet would occasionally brush aside clumps of rocks, hands now swaying freely at her sides.] The old man offered another route but that would of made the journey more longer. That night when they all fell asleep I snuck away and went to the camp where the thieves were staying and I ordered them to leave unless they wanted to be forced out, because they were blocking the way. They refused - And..I beat them up. The next thing I know I was clawed by a hawk that had poison on the tips of it's claws and I was knocked unconscious. It belonged to a slave trader that I had seen earlier on my travels. [Her fists curled into fists as she spoke. Usually just thinking about the man brought her anger but she felt none of it anymore.] When I woke up, I was chained again. But these chains were specifically made for Fanalis. They were supposed to be unbreakable. I remember staying in that cell for 5 days with a young girl named Nadja and one day she got really feverish.

The slave trader said that she was no good to him and so he went to dispose of her. Feed her to a pack of hyenas. All I remember was feeling angry and useless because I still couldn't get out of my shackles but..I heard my benefactors voice. He told me I was free and I wasn't bound anymore. [Her eyes trailed to stare at the leg ornaments on her, lips pursed.] I eventually broke out of my chains and saved Nadja. The slave trader thought he could subdue me by releasing a pack of big Siberian tigers on me but those were quickly defeated as well. It felt wonderful to free all the slaves and return the young girl back to her parents. [Realizing how much she talked she turned a small red in the face and cleared her throat, eyes catching the sight of a building up ahead.] Is that the restaurant?

[Whoa. He looks her up and down, hardly believing that such a little girl could do such amazing things, but there's no way she'd lie. He's sure of that much by now. Then again, he's always seen the good in others before the bad, but still!

Hilbert glances at the building she's asking about and nods.]

That's it. [But the story.] It must've been amazing to break out of something that they said you couldn't, and I bet that trader was surprised too. People like that deserve to be shocked. You're really something else, Morgiana, I mean it. I don't think I've ever met someone who came close to that! How big were these tigers, huh? I've never seen one before, not even in circuses and stuff.

[Thankfully this time she could keep her flustered expression under check, a small smile forming on her lips. Wow being complimented so many times. A brand new record.] There are other battles I could tell you but some parts would be difficult to explain. [She also didn't want to bore him with too much talking even though he seemed intrigued.]

It was..[She gives a nod and thinks about it for a second.] Uhm..I suppose it would have to be a bit more bigger than a Charizard. [However big those things were anyways.] I didn't really have to do much for the hyenas. I kind of scared them away with my battle cry. [Her arms latched behind her back again as she let her eyes roam the design of the restaurant as they got closer to it. It looked a little run-down but she could see people walking inside and some eating.] Maybe once we finish eating I can show you an example of how it works.

[Considering Charizard can get to be about 5'07"... Wow. She'd definitely be dwarfed by them.]

I'd like to see that! And hear your other battles, too. I'd tell you mine but they'd need some explaining first, and they don't sound half as exciting as yours. And I guess it's more of an "in the moment" thing that yours were.

[The ones he can tell, anyway. The ones he can't tell would probably entertain her greatly. But she needs to see his map first it's why they came out here, after all. After they sit down and stuff.]

[As soon as they made it to the front door Morgiana opened it up for the both of them, the small bell hanging from the top jingling to announce their arrival. They were greeted by a waitress nearby who ushered them to a circle like booth. Morgiana took the moment to stare at the table almost in fascination before eventually sliding into a sitting position. Both she and Hilbert were handed a menu and she barely registered the womens words.]

Ah..water please. [Once the waitress left them alone to figure out what to eat, she opened up the plastic card and let her eyes roam the food items.] Most of these foods I've never even heard of before. Steak..? Pizza? Uhmm. [She gave Hilbert a look as if saying 'please help me pick' and then placed the menu down.] Have you eaten here before?

[He'll have water himself, and at her question he shakes his head.]

I haven't! But a girl like you'd definitely like steak. [She seems particularly meaty. Plus, she's strong, so her tribe's got to eat a lot of protein right? Right.]

Most of this stuff is what you'd find in any restaurant back in Unova, so I'll help you out. [Let him point out with his menu.] Pizza is really good and is kind of an edible bread plate with sauce, cheese, meat, and anything else you want on it! Steak and hamburgers are both made of cows, except steak is like one big piece and hamburgers are ground meat and are on a sandwich. Both are equally delicious. There's salads too, if you'd be more comfortable eating something leafy, but I'd seriously suggest steak.

[Because steak is delicious and he will be getting one too. Maybe it'll be bigger since the animals here are really weird! That's exciting!]

Wow.. [At his description of the food, Morgianas stomach rumbled and she ducked her head down with an embarrased blush. She didn't think it all would sound so good!]

I'll have the steak then. [Hilbert was definitely right. She was more of a meat type girl. Shifting on the booth her feet would unconsciously brush against his. Whether she realized what she was doing she choose to not to comment on it. This booth is small okay.] Oh..there she is. [The waitress came back with a smile and a small notepad. When she asked what they wanted to order she glanced over at Hilbert for a split second and then glanced up at the other female.] A steak please.

[Hilbert figures the booth is small, and she must be uncomfortable with these new things too... So he puts it down as that and pokes her back with his shoe. It's cool.

Brush aside, yesss he knew it. He grins at Morgiana, then at the waitress.]

For me, too! And some butter, please? [To Morgiana:] Butter's always on steaks in Unova and it tastes darn good, so I figure it should apply here too.

[And only after the waitress leaves will he be digging through his pack to take out a folded up piece of paper, waving it slightly. She should be able to figure out what it is.]

[If only Morgiana knew what she had been doing she would of been very flustered. To others it would of seemed as if they were playing footsies!!] butter? [She had no idea what it even was but she gave a small nod. She would atleast give it a try.]

[At the slight nudge back to her foot she gives Hilbert a brief confused look. I wonder what that was about.. Taking note of the map, she shifts to slide over to the others side, shoulder bumping against his. Gently she takes the map from his hands, smooths it out on the table and let's her eyes roam it with curiosity.] Wow its big.. [She let her finger trace some shapes on the paper as she leaned in more, strands of vibrant red hair fluttering over her shoulders and face from her movements.] We really don't have a map for my world.

[Hell yes Unova is impressive, and it's written all over to boot ~~shh I just wanted to show off my work~~. Hilbert watches her lean over it, then reaches his hand over and taps a little town at the bottom right of the map.]

That's my hometown, right there. Nuvema Town's only special attribute is that it's got the lab there - and it's now the home of the Unova Champion! [Another thing he'd have to explain, but he doesn't mind.] Why don't you really have a map for your world? Is it that big?

You must have nice memories..[She leaned back against the seat she was in fingers still idly tracing shapes on the map. Why was it that she felt so jealous of him for a second? Maybe because shes didn't remember much of her own homeland or family?]

I'm sure there are maps from our world somewhere..but I haven't seen one yet. So that could be it. [She gently folded the map and sets it aside before scooting to give Hilbert some space. Her eyes stared up at the ceiling as she lost herself in thought - So much that she barely registered that the young waitress came back to their table with their food until the sound of plates hitting the table broke her from her daze.] Oh..Thank you. [She gives a nod and tugs her plate a little closer, staring at the steaming piece of meat. Sure shes has meat before back at home but it never looked anything like this. She clumsily grabbed at her fork and knife but she was unsure of how to go about eating it.] How do you..? [She motioned to her steak with a small embarrassed look on her face as she glances up at Hilbert.]

[He grins, taking the map and slipping it back into his bag, and nods to the waitress in thanks too. Mmmm. It looks edible. Good.]

Okay, personally I just cut big pieces like this... [Taking his fork and knife, he cuts a chunk off and waves it.] But it's all to your own pace. There's no special way to eating something like this, unlike ice cream or Oreo cookies.

[Hilbert demonstrates, putting the fork in his mouth and taking the piece of steak. Nice and clean. He cuts a slightly smaller piece off of Morgiana's steak and holds out it out to her, meat towards her. Eating off of someone else's fork isn't a crime. Hopefully.]
