[He's had enough of parties lately, so it isn't any wonder that Rick hadn't been particularly keen on the masquerade. What's surprising is that he somehow managed to wiggle out of being dragged along despite that. But he's already starting to regret it - the whole building feels bone quiet and there's only so many times you can clean two guns before it gets excessive.

I should have known. Leave it to those of us raised around such things not to want anything to do with them.

I found lots of dirty streets, ruined buildings, tunnel entrances, and odds and ends. If I ever wind up getting chased by a mob, I feel much more confident in my odds of escaping now.
