[ Tommy's in some dimly lit building - there are aisles with all sorts of boxes, each filled about halfway with what looks like CD cases. He's zipping from one box to the next, rushing through them at a very rapid pace. After about five of those boxes, he groans. ]

I thought there might be something good here, but all I'm getting is:

[ And for each artist he names, he lifts up a CD case. ]

Frank Sinatra. The Shirelles. Lesley Gore.

I mean, seriously, did anything containing music after 1963 survive?

[ It's probably obvious that this powered little teen is just looking for a good chance at conversation, since in the few days he's been here, he hasn't had much of a chance to interact, zipping about the countryside like he has. ]

[ Tommy gestured, sweeping an arm along the rows of boxes. ]

Then come take a look. It's pretty good on the swing stuff, if that's your thing.

I know it not. But I will listen.

[He frowns.] Where are you? And ... where is the music?

[CDs? What?]

[ ...Oh geeze. These Initiative types really went digging, huh? ]

Uh- how about this? You tell me where you are and I can zip over there to pick you up? Trust me, a lot faster.

[dusk_and_dawn]

I am in the training hall, as always. But-- [he raises an eyebrow] I weigh over 300 pounds.

[Perhaps the boy can do it. Balder doesn't know what his powers are. He just doesn't want the kid breaking something in the attempt.]

Pft. [ It was Tommy's only response before he sped off toward the training hall. He had honestly lifted a lot heavier than 300 pounds - not for very long distances, but the training hall to the music shop shouldn't be too far. ]

[Balder is still looking into the camera when Tommy appears. His eyebrows shoot up and his mouth downturns, but he otherwise doesn't react. He had been expecting a speedster, after all, even if he didn't recognize him.]

Strong as well as speedy, then?

[ Tommy made it to the training hall not too long after he left the music shop. He zipped around a bit more, looking for the man he had been speaking to and when he finally did, he just moved on up to him with a grin. ]

So, ready for the fastest form of transportation around?

[Balder tilts his head to the side with a slightly amused expression. He's 6'4" and solidly built as well, so this seems hopelessly awkward.]

I will be curious to see how you manage it. [Bridal style?]
