I get that we're here to help save worlds and all that, but I can't help but wonder. I've been here a month now, and other than that monster thing that was going down when I got here, we haven't really done anything significant other than train.

Anyone know when we'll actually be told to go somewhere?

[A part of him's thankful that he hasn't had to do anything dangerous as of yet, but the whole thing is a bit strange to him, to be inactive this long.]

[And that's really all he has to say at the moment. For the most part, anyway.]

( She keeps from laughing as she asks. Hey, people do change apartments now and again. )

( It takes her a little to get up to his floor, and regardless of the advanced notice for the door being unlocked, some version of manners belatedly recalled has her knocking first before she announces herself and lets herself in. )

Hey, Minato! It's Collette.

( Which is more notice than most her friends got back home when she was busting into their personal space -- but hospitals didn't really have a concept of private. Opening the door carefully, she peers around it best she can before wheeling on inside. )

'Sup? Come on in.

[The dress in question is hanging on the side of the living room. It's nothing fancy, but he's taken care to avoid the common faults that could turn it tacky. He's had a month to do it and not much other responsibility to take care of, after all.]

( All the invite she really needs -- less, honestly. Collette closes the door behind her, but past that, her attention is on the greens and blues of what's hanging right over thataway. )

( She grins, commenting to herself under her breath: )

Mom would never believe this.

( Collette actually getting a dress, let alone getting someone to make it for her. )

This is amazing! Have you been doing anything else the last month?

[Minato comes out into the living room, toting a small sewing kit.]

...Not really. Couldn't find anything else to do other than go to the gym.

( She looks visibly surprised. )

Seriously? You need to get out more, Minato! You're not one of those super studious types, are you?

I have been out. Just not much to do.

What did you used to do in your free time back home?

Hang out with friends, usually.

( She just smiles. Sure, friendships strengthen with time, but the seeds are sown far before then. )

Mostly. I did have someone I know from home here, but she's proving herself scarce, which is kind of odd.

Yeah. I know she can handle herself, but I still can't help but worry a bit.

( She grins, looking away after saying as much. Really, she'll just reach out and rub some of that fabric between her fingers. )

( She hates admitting it, but she can't be fast at this. )
