I get that we're here to help save worlds and all that, but I can't help but wonder. I've been here a month now, and other than that monster thing that was going down when I got here, we haven't really done anything significant other than train.

Anyone know when we'll actually be told to go somewhere?

[A part of him's thankful that he hasn't had to do anything dangerous as of yet, but the whole thing is a bit strange to him, to be inactive this long.]

I've been here for about ten months now, and we've been on a few different missions during that time. We've also had some troubles to deal with within the Hold on more than one occasion.

I'm guessing it takes some time to set these up?

I would assume so, though they haven't bothered to give us much advance notice on most occasions. A day or so, at most.

I agree. Though in theory we're supposed to be training every day, and should be ready at a moment's notice.

True, but the chance to prepare never hurt anyone.

I agree. If nothing else, they should give us more notice of what it is we are going to be facing. Many of us are not familiar with this world, knowing the terrain and the local fauna far in advance would help is be better prepared.

That and since we're going back in time for missions, knowing the time period for research and what we'll be facing would be useful.

Most certainly. It would especially helpful to know what sorts of weapons our enemies will have, since not all of us are familiar with all of the technology available on this world.

I'll have to bring it up to them next chance I get. If they want us to win the war, then they'll do this for us.
