[If you're watching this, you'll realize pretty quickly that the communicator is placed at the far end of a bath tub. How can you tell? Because there is a woman in the tub across from the communicator. Nothing explicit can be seen due to convenient placement of frothy bubbles.

Erza shows no signs of actively trying to preserve her modesty and is fully aware that the device is transmitting.]

Greeting fellow... transports? That's what they've been calling us I believe.

My name is Erza Scarlet and I'm what we call a wizard on my world. I belong to a guild known as Fairy Tail.

[She pauses, seemingly distracted by her own thoughts before she smiles at the camera.]

I had meant to introduce myself earlier, but I've been confined to the infirmary for the past two weeks recovering from injuries I received prior to and during my arrival here.

That reminds me.

I'd like to thank everyone who came to my aid; it was foolish of me to return to the battlefield so soon after... Forgive me I'm trailing off. Regardless, I owe you all a debt of gratitude for your assistance.

[She inclines her head to emphasize her gratefulness.]

I'd also like to greet to my new roommates in Room 710. Villiers, Lash, I hope we'll get along.

And what do you mean by that?

No good has ever come from magic. There's nothing reliable about it, especially not as a defense. It should not be trusted, much less used to fight with--and any that choose to do so should be prepared to accept the consequences of that choice.

Oho~ Is that so? You've used magic frequently enough to know all of it's strengths and weaknesses then? And you can defeat any magic user with your own superior strength and skill?

I don't have to have used magic to know it for what it is. I've seen what evils it works.

It's true, magic can be used for evil. But it can also be used to protect. The same can be said about a sword, yet you would not fault a weapon for the actions of it's wielder.

To believe that magic itself is evil is ignorant.

[Magic doesn't kill people, Arthur. People kill people.]

Yet a sword won't turn on the one that wields it. A sword can always be controlled. And if a man uses his sword to do evil works, then you can blame the man. He can't claim to have been used by the sword, or under some curse.

[so, in a word, no.]

And you should have care who you call ignorant.

Obviously you've been wronged by a wizard in some way and that's made you jaded. Magic has been used for generations in Fiore and the kingdom has prospered because the guilds work together with those who can't use magic toward a greater good.

[Nope. Not letting this go, your Highness.]

You believe that something has no merit because you wish to only see the worst side of it. I would call that ignorance.

Don't presume to know anything about me. What other side of magic is there to see? You can tell me your kingdom has prospered all you like, but it remains only your word. The truth may be something very different. For everything good magic brings, it brings destruction with it, and that is something I have seen first hand. It withers whatever it touches, and your kingdom will be no exception to that.

[ Erza is not intimidated by his pompous display but his words strike a nerve. She stands up, gold light covering her body, and steps out of the tub. The light scatters revealing Erza in her Heart Kreuz armor. Amazingly she isn't wet at all. Lifting the device she tries to get a better look at Arthur.]

Do you truly believe that? Have you prejudged every user of magic you've never even met as an abomination seeking to bring ruin to your world? It makes me wonder what wizards are treated like on your world.

[Go on Arthur, tell her what you guys do to mages in Camelot.]

There were no sorcerers left in the kingdom of Camelot, and any that remained did not dare to practice magic--and we were better for it. Its taint has come upon us, and the kingdom has been seized, and a sorceress-- [he nearly snarls that; Morgana, the sting is still there when he thinks her name, and her betrayal--] --seeks to overthrow the peace that my father has built under his rule.

So, yes. I truly believe in the evils of magic.

So I was correct to assume you have been wronged by a wizard.

[Erza softens her tone; she's still extremely annoyed with this man but she could sympathize.]

And there are no wizards to challenge this sorceress as you've driven them from your kingdom. How will you fight her? Can you fight her?

[but he does not look for sympathy, especially from a witch. he pulls back his anger; he quiets it, though his glare remains.]

We will fight her as we can. We will fight her in fair combat. If she does not choose to meet these terms, then the dishonor is hers. But we will not fight magic with magic.

[Still glaring because she cannot fathom his stubbornness.]

You said that your kingdom has already been seized, what makes you believe that the sorceress will fight you fairly? You would place your honor above the safety of your people and comrades?

[there's nothing to take from that but insult, and Arthur bristles at the suggestion.]

There is nothing that I put before the safety of my people! But there is no safety in magic! What seems fair will always end foul when magic is involved--it poisons whatever it touches. And I will not subject my people to it!
