The year 3312 is a bit far off from where I'm from. Just a bit over a thousand years. Considering I'm from Earth, the idea things would change from how I remember to now is a little...strange to think about.
Of course I know for a fact this Earth is different from my own, as I'm sure some of you also are aware, but indulge me a little despite that. Lets pretend for a second you can't be sure. Were we to return to the year you came from and as it turned out this world was in fact yours, knowing things would inevitably become this bad, how would you feel about it?

1/2 not here
after some thought, he realizes the world would probably be exactly like this.
dark, desolate-- sad. he only arrived recently but N can't fathom happiness blooming in a place like this.
the worst part to him is, in his blindness, in his guilt, in his desire to be right, he still would have thought the world beautiful. pokemon would be with him, after all, far away from humans-- how could he not think such a world was beautiful?
and yet he would have no idea what the cause of their endless misery would be, he would consult his father and receive inaccurate replies and empty promises and this would be his fate until the day he was buried at the bottom of the sea with his ancestor. there he would lay and his beloved reshiram would continue doing what both of them hated most. razing land and melting deserts and boiling the ocean until nothing but ghetsis' world was left.
and it would be all his fault.
as one could imagine, the thought is just a little bit upsetting, so before he replied, N spends a good long while crying into ninetales, having a why did daddy eat my fries sesh.]

now then, to answer this man's question... clearing his throat to rid himself of the vestiges of his upset, he finally speaks.]
If I were to find out this was the fate of my world? I would be disappointed in myself, but unsurprised at the same time. However, I would also do what I could to return things to the way they were meant to be.

But could you? After all if the initiative is unsuccessful, you're left in the past as the only one with such knowledge.
I can't imagine anyone would worry over something so far off in the future.
[Truthfully though, he at least thinks it's kinda nice the guy would care.]

If we were completely helpless here I would be worried and concerned for my friends' and my descendants. [mostly friends. no man is touching his daughter n o p e.] But if whatever they're trying to make us do works out here, it'll be fine, right?

But, I suppose you have a point. That's the whole issue with being here in the first place. It would just be interesting to be sent back home before everything is settled and not knowing.
For an ordinary person the information would probably be a heavy burden to bear.

Not to say I don't think you'll be an interesting person, but do you find that to be a burden?
