There are some of us who worked at SHIELD. Others who worked with us. People from other universes with other SHIELDs.

This, however, is not affiliated with SHIELD as SHIELD is long gone.

[Interesting, the Avengers and SHIELD are separate entities in her world. Not that he couldn't see it going that way eventually in his. With Rogers and Stark on the team, there's no way they would have put up with Fury in charge for very long. Something would have pissed either of them off and they'd have insisted on going independent.]

I'll be upfront and say that I was a SHIELD agent. I worked closely with the Avengers in my world. To be honest, the only reason I invoked SHIELD was that I figured it would be something in common for the type of universes I was trying to attract.
