[When the video clicks on, it's from a ground view point. Obviously whoever owns it has put it to one side. All that can be seen are the standard initiate walls everyone finds themselves staring at to begin with, and a pair of legs clad in brown boots.]

If it's not one thing it's another, and even when you keep your eyes on the "another" something else will sweep you off your feet. Literally.

[The voice is that of a male, sounding almost bemused at the situation as Medivh talks to himself.]

This device though... it's not of Azerothian fare.... Even I don't recognize this place.

[The feet start pacing back and forth as Medivh mulls over his current predicament silently. Suddenly he picks up the device, glancing briefly at it to show a middle-aged human. It's not clear if the sorcerer is talking to the device or himself again. Anyone who knows their Azerothian history will recognise the staff of Atiesh in his hand. For those who don't, it's a gorgeous staff with a bird perched on the top.]

I'm sure it'll make itself known before long. They always do. I am Medivh and it appears I will be in room 409 if the person here is to be believed.

No, they talk. They just tend to be careful about what they say. And don't move their lips when they read.

That's how he blew himself up. Studying a spell, moved his lips when he read, then suddenly we were all burned and he was gone.

Now that makes more sense. Sounds rather foolish of your friend to do such a thing.

I'll try to make sure no-one gets blown up when I'm reading things.

Not exploding yourself is always an excellent plan.

In case you didn't get one, welcome. We're all from strange places here, but there's a number of people from Azeroth here... although I see you've met one already.

I've only spoken to the one. It's somewhat reassuring that there are others. It always makes displacement less jarring when that happens.

All mages in Azeroth know a certain creed of skills. Either Arcane, Frost or Fire.
