Hello, network. I am Leliana, for all the new people here and those that do not remember.

One of my favorite preoccupations is storytelling. That is, listening to stories and telling them. I've been wondering...

A lot of us come from different places, yes? Different places mean different cultures, and to get to my point, different stories. I don't know if there is a collection of some sort, or if this has been asked before, but I want to listen to fables, myths or legends of all sorts from your homelands, if you will indulge me. That way, I can spread these marvelous stories in my travels if/when I get back to Thedas.

If you're more of the listening sort, I will be more than happy to relay stories from where I came from.

I've never heard of guitars before but she is magnificent. Are you a minstrel? [ Leliana puts down her communication device. It shows the view of a ceiling for a few moments. There's the sound of rustling, before she picks this up again and shows him her lute. ]

I picked this up during one of my missions. Since yours has a name, I think I will name her too... hm... I will call her Andraste, because she plays such enchanting music.

Nah, I'm a roadie. I travel around with a band, make sure they have all their shit in order so they can do what they were born to do, which is take the stage and put on a fuckin' awesome show.

There a story behind the name? Just curious.

I don't know what a roadie is, but it sounds like quite the exciting lifestyle! As a bard, I used to perform as well. Quite good at it, in fact.

Yes, it is. When Andraste sang, her tune turned the gaze of the Maker Himself and he realized that he wanted her as His Divine Bride. I don't think I could ever play as well as Andraste herself, but I'm certainly trying.

Sounds like a lady from one of the legends I've heard. Only her song was used to provide nourishment to a tree covered in breasts. It served to feed a group called the First Ones.

Hey, practice makes perfect. I'm sure you'll get there one day.

A tree... covered in breasts? Why, that sounds so silly.

Good enough to turn the Maker's gaze on me? Oh, how I wish Enchanting audiences will have to do.

I know, it sounded fuckin' weird to me too, but that's how the story was told. There's a lot more to it, but that's the beginning.

I don't think you'll have any problem doing that with just your looks.

Well, since we're sharing stories anyway, would you mind telling it?

[ Oh!!! She giggles. She knows she's pretty! It's nice to be acknowledged. ]

Well, the story is kinda long. You sure you're up for it?

Hm. How long, exactly? We had a story for a story deal, but I don't want to repay you by telling the story of my time with the Hero of Ferelden.

Well, I got a few. The origin myths of the Age of Metal, stories about the battles I've had a hand in, or just really weird shit that I've dealt with.

The first one sounds interesting. In turn, I might relay the story of the Dragon Age.

Alright, sounds good.

[He takes a moment to clear his throat, run through the legend in his mind, and begins speaking, doing his best to tell such a glorious tale. He speaks of the First Ones, of Aetulia's untouched place, the glory and power of Ormagöden, and the seething hatred the First Ones had against the Fire Beast.

He continues on with the tale, the tone of his voice reflecting a deep respect for the Titans and the creations they left behind, and a slight hesitation at speaking of the Sea of Black Tears, having seen the sorrowful waters for himself, and what they could do to people. However, he speaks only as far as mentioning Riggnarok, the former leader of the Rebellion. He doesn't want to mention his part in this tale. At least, not yet. When he finishes, he exhales softly, waiting to hear her reaction.]

[ She doesn't only listen to the story, she takes notice of his tone and expressions. ]

[ This is truly an epic tale. Sometimes crude, even outlandish at times, but it has left her inspired. ]

It is a tale dear to you, yes? All that stuff... really happened? I have a hard time believing it, and I traveled with the Hero of Ferelden herself!

I've seen the Titans' work for myself, and I've seen first hand what the Sea of Black Tears can do to someone. Trust me, it's all real.

It sounds so unbelievable. What a great adventure!

You think that's awesome? That's not even where I came in.

I was taken back in time, fucked up those demons, and helped a great man set humanity free.
