So Vanadi's hosting the big Masquerade Ball later this month, and that got me to thinking...

There's no age limit, everyone's going to be wearing a mask and in costume, there's no supervision, and one of the most common questions out of new people showing up here is "where's the nearest bar," so it'll also have alcohol. Lots of it.

( Collette leans forward, chin resting on her interlaced hands, elbows on the table. She grins. )

This is so much better than Prom would ever be.

There are many kinds of Midgardians. I am most familiar with my brother's friends, the super-heroes.

I would feel quite ridiculous. Besides, who would I dress as? [His immediate impulse would be to dress as his brother. He could just borrow his clothes.]

Hmm, what are his main colors? I bet we can make a simple mask that compliments the rest of what he wears. That'd work for sure!

Mmm, no, not really. We're stuck in time, not in prison. Finding the key's going to happen, but it won't stop the UE from opening up the door again right after you go.
