Hello. [An awkward pause where a nice, normal greeting should go. Something like "it's nice to meet you." Vin is very bad at being people.] I was wondering if-- you're sure this is working? [A huff. She turns back.]

Base elements that need to be mixed to form alloys. I need bars of iron, steel, tin, pewter, zinc, brass, copper, bronze, aluminum, duralumin, and electrum. The alloys need to be mixed very specifically. Can you do that?

The start of the recording contains about fifteen seconds of muffled, angry noises and a few curses - along with an exclamation of "Lord Ruler!" which somehow sounds like a curse in spite of its absurdity.]

Yes, I am. Once I have my metals things-- [She breaks off, then sighs. She doesn't want to reveal she's Mistborn, but she's coming to the conclusion it really doesn't matter. Many people here seem special.] I'll be happier.
