[He reaches up and touches his shoulder, as if nursing a wound. It's a calculated movement on his part.]

[He looks up, green eyes sliding across the sky as an expression of genuine fear and bewilderment clouds his features and he clutches the cloth against his breast like a security blanket]

[Thor had shouted at the tablet for some moments before realising that the image of his brother can neither hear not see him.

And so he sets out to find him.

He senses something different about his brother as he draws close, but seeing Loki once more in his older form comes as an almost a big a shock as when he'd first realised Loki had been reborn as a mere youth. (The same youth who has, only recently, led Thor to his demise in a lake of fiery death. But that is a matter for another time.)

It's a wonder he doesn't grab Loki into a hug as soon as he sees him. Instead he clasps his shoulder. Thor is a being of passion, so he makes no attempt to conceal any of the emotions he feels at seeing his brother once more. Confusion, suspicion, some frustration, relief, joy-]

Loki- brother! How can this be!?

[Loki is packing away his few belonging when he feels something like static rush across his spine. He is about to turn when the great hand comes down on the thick fur lining his shoulder.

Then...that voice...


He looks down, back still turned to Thor and sighs. It is a heavy, world-weary sound.]

Nay, I speak not of our untimely abduction- [but the sigh has already told Thor what he wanted to know. This is not the Loki of his time, suddenly grown again. There was no such weariness in his entire young being.

This is Loki as he was before (or has become again? He should not presume). He gives the shoulder a squee and removes it, doing his best to read whatever he can from Loki's turned back.]
