oo5 ⊗ video ⊗ fifth move ⟹ backdated to oct 5th.
[ charles is visibly distressed when he appears on the screen, this time. he's in what seems to be some underground facility, and there are other faces behind him—notably collette, emma, galadriel, raven, and others. his eyes remain closed for a second and you can hear him take a deep breath. then: ]
We have... borrowed a gentleman by the name of Richard Lawson...—from the United Earth. He is a cabinet member of the President's. Yes, the President of the United Earth. [ charles clears his throat, steels himself. ]
We've learnt a great many things about the United Earth from his head, and we feel it best to share that information with all of you, here on the Network.
[ charles states the next words with a heavy voice. ]
The President of the United Earth is not human. "He" is—artificial. Artificial Intelligence, or what you would call an A.I.. The United Earth... has never seen his face, as far as we have deduced.
We will try to answer questions about what we have learnt to the very best of our ability, but do be patient. Ah—[ he closes his eyes again, considering. then he nods as though he's made the right decision and he knows it. ]
That is all.
( note: wow i knew i forgot something like a winner. THIS TAKES PLACE DURING/AFTER these linked shenanigans: [ x ] [ x ] [ x ] [ x ] )

Oh, don't worry, you're pretty damn well off, you know- [ he gestures to her face. ] - and everywhere else, too.

Perhaps you do not understand the term "natural." As I know it, it refers to that which is unaltered from its nature. As am I and as are all my people.
[And that comment just gets a little scoff with her condescension.]

I understand it just fine. S'what kept me alive for all these years, thanks. [ okay, so you might be hot but now he's getting a little irked. ]

Oh, come on. S'just thinkin' that it would be a lot more fun than arguin' 'bout elves, or whatever. [ but he can go right back to that, if you want. ]

[There's a heavy sigh and the sound of the tablet disconnecting. Congratulations, Dean. You got Galadriel to hang up on you.]

Most people have more chemicals in them than a lab's waste bucket.

There are a percentage of people - normal humans - born lacking a particular chemical balance that the rest of humanity has. This lack makes those humans less inclined to view the rest of humanity as being people and thus makes it highly likely that they will not see any qualms to kill a person over a slight offense or a whim.
On the other end, you have humans born with an overly balanced chemical mixture, which makes them far, far more sensitive towards the rest of humans to the point that they can make connections and pick up on subtleties that other humans miss. Some may call themselves psychic while others find themselves drawn towards police or humanitarian work.
Hormones are a chemical. The very act of breathing is a chemical process. Even eating. A human's body is made out of the same things as a cow's or a dog's or a fish, only designed for a certain niche.
Dismissing another person's identity over such trivial things as to being of a different makeup than yours is rather ridiculous. Especially when I know about your attachments. [ He knows what your boyfriend isn't, roomie. ]

...Dude, I didn't sign up for a, what, science lesson, okay? Monsters are monsters, humans are human -- no odd chemicals, or powers, or whatever.
[ dean looks...almost angry at the last part-- surprised, too, because how does he know? and just don't you talk about attachments, they'll have a problem real soon otherwise. ]
I'd shut up right about now if I were you.

If you wish to see a real monster, look into a mirror.
[ He sees. He watches. He just knows. ]
The same can go towards you. Do not judge and do not be judged.

[ Oh, he is not scared of anything. He is ready to bite off his own fingers for a point in his home, so nothing can make him think the pretty elf is scary. ]
