[Chloe's looking a little pale today. Or really pale, and she's already pale enough as it is. It makes her look a little sick and a lot tired.] Does anyone know the number of casualties from the attack?

[There's a pause as her gaze follows something before she returns her attention to the feed. Too many dead bodies. Too many ghosts. It's an uncomfortable feeling.] Or what will happen to the bodies? I-I haven't, um... Gone looking for a cemetery. [Lol, because who would, right?] What I mean is, I... [Oh my God, Chloe, you are an idiot. She clears her throat.] Will they be buried?

[Lym is rather pouty today - so nothing new, really, except she's sad rather than mad, for once.]

Their families should be contacted, too. If they have any left. But if there are a lot of them... I dunno.

Yeah, neither do I... but that's something the Initiative should be handling, not us. [She rolls her eyes.] We'll see if they actually do anything.

I... [It takes her a moment to come up with a response. That was the first actual act of war she's seen since getting here, and it was scary as hell. War really sucks, no matter where you are. Like hell she's actually admitting that, though.] I'm okay. Happy to be above ground again, I guess.

It seems like something anyone should try handling. We were all affected by what happened. [Plus she doesn't trust the Initiative to even try.]

It's something that someone with some authority should be doing. But considering it's the Initiative, well... [she shrugs her shoulders.] I suppose everyone is better off if one of us handled it.

...Yeah. It was really dark, and-- [The word 'scary' almost slips out. She bites her lip.] It looked like a place a monster might live in.

[Lym is being completely serious. Guess whose bodyguard convinced her the boogeyman is real...]

It would help to also promote a sense of... togetherness. Between us and the rest of Exsilium. We're all trapped in this war. [she's never really thought of herself as the kind of person who would encourage these sorts of things, but.]

A monster? [Chloe's on the verge of agreeing, especially because of the howls she heard in the tunnels, but then she keeps quiet. She remembers being afraid of these things. She still is.] Don't worry. I don't think there were any monsters down there, and there are plenty of people here who would stop monsters.

We need something to unite us, yes, but... I'm not sure a bunch of corpses are gonna be enough. It's a start, though.
