[The voice setting is turned into video, and a young man with blond hair appears on screen.]

Well, looks like this thing is finally working. I was almost getting tempted to bash it against the wall, but the technology is too good to waste. Or was it the network? [Grins.] So, from the depths of despair we emerge, possibly victorious, possibly having made things worse.

[His grin slowly fades, and he grimaces as he looks down at his clothes.] And all this good leather wasted out in the rain... I was glad those others didn't offer their robes to the rest of us. Not something very leader-like, isn't it? More like a monk of some sort.

[He turns the camera, offering a shot of the rubble.] It's been a real joy and pleasure moving rocks, but after hearing about those airships and the bombings, I'd like to know more about those. If there's a way to fly, I want it, and I'd like it now.

The leading man of this little story. [Heh.] I'm an airship captain. Leading a group isn't really my thing.

It is a story that continues to grow.

That's how the best stories are, right? What use is there to be the leading man in a story that doesn't go anywhere?

You plan to take your story to the skies, but lack the means to reach such a destination.

Now that is a difficult thing to determine. They might seem good, for a moment, but then they don't turn out well in the end.
