Hey, he's got to make sure his food supply is still around. Some of the stores are all right, some aren't. He'll continue wandering around the city just to see how bad some of the conditions are, maybe dropping by the housing to see how his room is (that being his actual room, not the apartment he's staying with Ace in).]

[Later on, he finally turns on his notebook, fiddling with it until he assumes it's recording.] So, is it normal to have all that stuff around here? The bombs and the gas and those weird mask guys? 'Cause they sure seemed pissed at you guys.

I don't know...if they need help, it makes sense that they'd get desperate enough to take people, but that doesn't make it right. Still...[She frowns, contemplative.] A lot of people must've been hurt pretty bad, or worse.

I was just wondering. See, ah...I thought they were only bringing soldiers here, so I figured they might send me home. I'm not a soldier, and I don't like fighting much.

Zoro's a swordsman. If he ever comes here, you should meet him.

[He nods.] Yep! And a crew. But none of them are here now.

I'd like that. [Said brightly; she really means it.] I've never met pirates before. [Or knights, or trolls...or any of the other people she's run into so far.] If you're here, maybe the rest of your crew will show up soon.
