—wanted was to know if I had found North yet! [ oh a face!! big dark eyes, huge scowl, and like the biggest, fluffiest hooded jacket ever. ] They were very rude and I would not have minded hurting them, or maybe I would kill them, but they ran away, and now my back hurts. Raafa says people who run away are cowards, and not worth anything. I do not want to see any of them again.

[ a pause, one heavy, frustrated sigh, and then she looks a little bit less pissed. it's good to have that out of her system. no onto what really matters, in the middle of this violent occupation. ]

Neither is bad. But neither is my home, so it does not matter where I go.

... Yeah, only that it still sort of does. If you get lost or hurt out there, there'll be no one nearby to help you.

So I will not get lost or hurt. It has not happened so far.

Just because it hasn't so far doesn't mean it's impossible. You have no idea what's out there.

That's right. But I know other things that you don't.

That's not the point. They could and would have killed you.

The same goes for everything else. Knowing yourself doesn't mean you also know what you're up against - it's not your world, after all. Everything is different. Do you even think about that?
