—wanted was to know if I had found North yet! [ oh a face!! big dark eyes, huge scowl, and like the biggest, fluffiest hooded jacket ever. ] They were very rude and I would not have minded hurting them, or maybe I would kill them, but they ran away, and now my back hurts. Raafa says people who run away are cowards, and not worth anything. I do not want to see any of them again.

[ a pause, one heavy, frustrated sigh, and then she looks a little bit less pissed. it's good to have that out of her system. no onto what really matters, in the middle of this violent occupation. ]

[ He matches that smile. ] Martin Septim. I'm usually at the library. That's a good place to learn how to write.

[ OH DIVINES, HERE WE GO~ ] Ah, you must've met the other Martin. Martin's a very common name.

Why? Did your village run out of names?

[septim]

My village? [ He doesn't even know where he was born. Another secret Uriel VII took to the grave. ] Oh no, I suppose my parents just liked the name Martin. [ His mother, most likely; 'Martin' isn't exactly a name befitting the nobleborn. Had he'd been raised with a silver spoon in his mouth, a more bombastic name would've surely followed. ]

Really? Who do you fight?

Ah, well, I don't like to fight but I do if I must.

Fighters should like to fight. Maybe you need a new name.

Maybe. [ Oh, he's laughing. ] Don't know what I'd pick, or what suits me.

I like to help people. And read.

[ Oh, that's a hard question. ] To...help them with their problems. To help them be happy.
