So, I've just gotta ask. How many people's parents here went to Woodstock? Because I've been hearing some pretty groovy names being tossed about.

[A pause, and Sam's voice sounds a little more amused as he continues.]

Or what about people named after their grandmothers? I know at least one.

In that case, it would be wise of them to take on a name that people would not find incomprehensible. Perhaps that's what they've been doing thus far.

I guess they probably wouldn't know Dick and Jane.

Perhaps not. Or perhaps they wish to retain some sort of similarity to the names they possessed in their own realities. In any case, I think this is a more concise explanation than this... 'Woodstock'.
