Hello. This is... [ She pauses and huffs a laugh, her calm a little less forced. ] This isn’t how I expected my day to go in the slightest. I have been to alternate dimensions before, goodness knows, but this time around is a bit odd. It’s very organized.

I am. [ The smile disappears into a slight frown. ] My name is Wanda Maximoff and I am known as the Scarlet Witch. For a time, I was an Avenger. If there is anyone here from my world, my name may mean any number of things to you. I hope we may speak civilly regardless.

[ Though she’s not getting her hopes up, if the look on her face is any indication. ]

[She smiles slightly at that, shakes her head.]

[ Oh god, she's only a little older than her own children. ]

I couldn't say what your exact age was, but perhaps a few years older than me.

[...yeah, okay, not going to touch that with a ten-foot pole. You don't just guess a woman's age, especially a mutant.]

A couple of months. Not quite as long as Charles.

[She hesitates.]

...actually, that's not completely true. According to Charles, I was here for a little while before. I don't remember any of it.

Amnesia?

I guess so. Or memory alteration.

[Either way, not that ... great to think about.]

Does Charles have any idea what may have caused that?

[But Charles -- doesn't go in her head. That's the deal, at least.]

[That was a little more definite, at least.]

[ Yeah, she knows better than to push with things like that. ]

Do you remember anything before the memory loss?

Nothing from here. I remember everything from home just fine.

...Would these Initiative people have the ability to erase memories?

Since we've already seen them manipulate memories within the last few weeks...I don't see why not.

They did bring us here to begin with, I suppose that shouldn't be too surprising.

Nothing I can think of, but you can always ask around. Maybe people just haven't been admitting to it. Or -- well, maybe they don't know.
