[Have a very confused looking teenage girl, transports. She's been thinking about this problem for awhile, but hasn't really had the time to ask it.] I was just wondering... How do we count how time passes here? [That sounds stupid, Chloe, maybe you should explain.] I mean! With the time travel thing. On our last mission, I was with a group that was trapped in time for six months, and I've been here in Exsilium for three. [Which sucks, by the way.]

If you count the time away during the mission, does that mean I've missed my sixteenth birthday already? Or should that time just... not matter?

I wouldn't want to be fifteen forever, either. It's a good thing to grow up, it's going much further that gets tough.

You're making old age sound a little terrifying.

All the scariest people I know are old. And I'm getting on in years myself.

[Chloe thinks about it, and really. She can't help but agree. All the scariest people she knows are pretty old, too.] You don't look that old.

How is sixteen supposed to feel, exactly?

You know, I don't remember.

[She flashes a bright grin.] Is that another part of old age, then? Forgetting what it's like to be young?

Sure. Do you remember your first birthday?

It's not actually possible to remember that far back.

You've gotten too old for it.

[A laugh.] Okay, okay. I've gotten too old for it.

I won't say age is just a number. But if you feel the time you've spent here counts, count it. Throw yourself a party, if you feel like.

I feel like I've at least grown in maturity, but this kind of place? Really can't help it.

Some people try very hard to never mature. You shouldn't underestimate them.

I'll do my best not to.
