Has there been any other soldiers here with armor like mine? Tend to call themselves Helljumpers, Freelancer or Spartans. Last ones are usually big. [Lifting his hand way above his head to emphasis this, before casually letting it fall back down.] Also would appreciate any further advice or information about this place.

I haven't seen any, but one question. What's the armor itself called? And what the heck is it used for?

That's two questions. [...] But they're BDUs. Kind of high-tech armor used in both space and ground combat.

Sorry, looks like you're SOL. The heavy armor back home looks similar but no one I know is running around wearing the stuff. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for giants stomping around in it, though.

More like a type of soldier. Helljumper is more of a nickname, though. ODST, or Orbital Drop Shock Trooper is more accurate.

While Spartans are like tanks with legs, and just as hard to miss.

Both sound about right, but usually it's the spaceships that launch us into a planet's atmosphere. Not the satellite.

[And it's ridiculously dangerous to do every time. Which is why every soldier that became an ODST volunteered to be one.]

As for your other question, there were a bunch of new Transports lately so it seems to be more chaotic than normal. Can't say for certain because I was one of them; no basis for comparison. Have you found your housing number yet?
