I miss home. I know that's normal, I know - I know there's nothing that can be done about it. I try to keep that in mind so it won't get to me so much. Everyone is so nice and helpful, even with everything going on. I'm very thankful, and - I would like to think I have made some friends.

[There's a pause, and he sighs softly. He suddenly isn't sure why he decided to start this feed.]

It's weird... one of the things I miss the most is hearing my language. [a little exhale, followed by a contradictory smile.] I wasn't used to speaking English for so long until I came here.

... Are all of you from English-speaking countries?

I'm from Japan. While some there can speak English, not everyone does. Some only speak and understand Japanese. Where are you from?

I'm from France. A lot of people don't understand English over there, either.

Ah, France. I gathered they are pretty...I'm not sure protective is quite the word, but I think you get the idea, of their language. As each culture should be. They say the death of the language is the death of the culture if it doesn't get passed down to the younger generations. I'm sure it is quite possible there are other people from France among the transports here though.

Most countries are like that, I think. At least in Europe. [yep.] I don't think I've had the chance to meet any if they're out there.

I guess seeing this anyone else from France might be compelled to reply and come out of the woodwork, as it were. Given the number of transports, there could well be another that knows French. I guess I am lucky in that I have a couple from home here as well at least.

I hope no one from my home comes here. I can't imagine them being anything but miserable.

I understand that. My colleagues are capable of fighting and defending themselves, or helping in other ways however. I would rather they did not get involved in this, but it doesn't seem we have a choice in the matter, so we might as well make the best of things. I merely was referring to that I have others here I can speak Japanese with. In fact, my partner from home doesn't know any English.

Hope he's a fast learner, then. If he ever ends up here, anyway. [as far as he understands, that isn't the case. he clears his throat.] Or he could just use the translator.

I think he has been using the translator, at least over these tablets. But yes, Tsuzuki is here as well. We arrived at the same time.

I think it was about March? It's been a few months now. Though I know others have been here much longer.

Yeah... I'm aware of that. I have no idea how long this has been going on for, though.

I'm not entirely sure either. I guess you could ask how long everyone has been here to get some idea, but even then that would rely on them having been here right from the start, which might not be likely.

From the start... I doubt it. But there's a possibility we could be taken there. Right?
