The new batch of Transports should be arriving any day now I think. I know we try our best to welcome them and make them feel comfortable, but how long should we wait before letting them know what they're really in for here? Hearing it from the guide is very different than seeing the reality first hand. There's only so much that people can take right off the bat.

[She exhales slowly.]

It's just something to consider. We don't know when things might move forward again, either. Having them thrown into this mess the day after they're pulled here would be a disaster if they're not fully informed.

What would you have preferred if given the choice for your arrival?

I think ... it would depend on the person, honestly. If it's someone who's used to fighting, or war, wherever they happen to be from? They might not need to hear it. But ...

There seem to be a lot more people than I expected who don't know what they're in for.

Sometimes it's hard for me to accept the number of Transports without any conceivable way of dealing with this. It's not fair to them at all.

It makes you wonder how they even decide who would be a viable recruit.

They've claimed they have no control over who gets pulled here. I'd like to believe that...

If that is true, then I can't fault them for it. I know what it is to have something useful without having complete control over it.
