Hey. I have a question, if you're willing to answer.

Say I need to see a doctor, or something similar to one. Because I am surly, uncooperative, and paranoid, I would sooner toss myself in the Atlantic than go to the Initiative for "help."

I see, as is logical, that my fellow interdimensional abductees have started their own medical clinic.

So, how trustworthy are *they*? I have a relatively bad history with doctors as it is, and, as mentioned, I am uncooperative and paranoid. I don't want to blindly trust someone who might, for example, "accidentally" publish my brand new medical record, or treat me like a guinea pig for some pet project they were developing in their former world.

The reason I need one isn't anything so urgent where I'll keel over and die in the next few hours, without medical attention. I'm pretty sure, anyway. But, I'd appreciate insight, rather than demands I swallow my pride and go to the first person who claims good intentions and to be able to help.

Thanks in advanced.

If you need discretion, just ask for Ino at the clinic. She treated me before and she later turned out to be my roommate. I can at least vouch that she's no 'evil scientist'.

I'd say like a typical girl, but she's reliable and she takes her duties in the clinic seriously.

There are certain things that a lot of girls do that could be considered typical, but then again that might be different in other worlds. Really, it's only the latter two that probably matter to you.

So it seems, but it's an even broader term.

If you say so. Then humans it is.

That's fortunate. If you still have doubts, you can get to know her before then.

Is it that strange? Even friends use each other, whether it's for company or otherwise.

Unless you have something to offer in exchange.

Surely you must have something you're good at.

You never know, someone out there might appreciate it.

But it would still be something to give in return.

Of course. Do you consider yourself to be such?

"That kind of thinking will hurt the people closest to you" is what my friend would tell you.

Personally I'd say: so what?
