[ So maybe an hour or so after everyone's return to Exsilium, some might have noticed it started snowing. Probably even more noticed when said snow quickly turned into a full on blizzard, covering everything in a thick layer snow in a matter of minutes. After an hour of letting the blizzard rage on, the culprit finally reveals himself.

Jack turns on the feed, squinting into the camera before quickly pulling back a little when he realizes it's on. He's leaning back against a wall, staff resting on his shoulder and he opens his mouth to speak when suddenly the screen grows blurry with a soft crackling sound. The screen goes dark for a moment then as Jack hurriedly wipes the frost away while muttering darkly under his breath. When the camera focuses again, the communicator is placed somewhere low and Jack's crouched down instead.

He raises one hand and waves sheepishly. ]

Hey. Since it seems a lot of people can hear and see me which wow, still unbelievable, I figured I should give this thing a try. For those who can't ... this will probably be a really weird video. Oh well!

[ He shrugs and the previous uncertain expression disappears in favor of a grin. ]

For those that can hear and see me, hi. I'm Jack Frost and I come bearing gifts. The heat back there was bad enough, but I can't say I was feeling up for all that dreary rain again, so ... [ He flips the device, showing the big snowflakes that are now gently drifting down from the sky. ]

Have some snow. [ A pause and he moves back into view. ]

I also wanted to thank everyone who helped me back in the desert, you all kind of saved my life. You too, guy who kept leaving glasses of water. So yeah, thanks. [ Wow, awkward much? But he obviously means it sincerely and the awkward is replaced with excitement again soon enough when he gestures to the snow-covered courtyard behind him. ]

Now, everyone should come out and have a little fun!

But look at you, you're so tiny!! Jack's grinning at the sight and raising an eyebrow in amusement at the gibberish ... word? Name? It didn't sound like either. ]

I'm sorry, but that makes no sense. I think you might be missing some vowels there or something.

Never mind, call me what you like. [ hUFF. ] What's that thing about people not being able to see you unless they believe in you? That makes no sense.

[ Don't be so huffy ctsv, it only makes him smile more. ]

Alright, little guy. [ And welp he shrugs at the question. ] I dunno, it's not like I made that up. You'll have to ask the Man in the Moon.

[ A pause and then a little bitterly: ] But I doubt he'll answer.

[ long... pause.... stare.... ]

Is there a man in the moon, here...?

[frorn]

[ Just ... staring right back. ]

I don't know if he's here too, it's kinda hard to tell when he never speaks back.

But it could be a different man in the moon. Maybe this one talks back?

Unless you mean you tried already.

[frorn]

[ Oh hey, he ... hadn't thought of that. ]

No, I haven't I didn't think he— You're right, he could be! Won't know until we try, right?

...How do you talk to a man in the moon, anyway? Do you just... shout up at him?

And yeah, that's right. He never replied to me, but he has spoken with my friends before.

Are you sure he can hear you that way? That's a lot of distance.

Oh, he hears you just fine. He sees and hears everything after all.

Oh... I see. [ and ctsv is willing to just accept this, because HEY, sometimes this stuff is just true ]

So you'll have to wait until nighttime? When the moon comes out? Can I come with you when you try?

[frorn]

[ That's really rather refreshing considering how skeptical people normally are. Jack appreciates it. ]

Of course you can! The clouds tend to block it out, but if we fly above them, that should be no problem. We can try it out tonight.

[scour]

Fly? You can fly? [ less disbelief, more WHOA WOW COOL YES I WANT TO FLY YES TAKE ME NOW JACK-- ] --er, yes. Tonight will be fine.

[frorn]

[ Don't think he didn't notice that bit of excitement, because he totally did. He grins and nods. ]

In the mean time, you should come try out the snow.

[scour]

[ side-eyes.... ]

I still think I'll drown. Or get lost and freeze.
