[ There's a huge hole in the wall behind Lash, and she's got the so-called Death Ray "hidden" behind her back. She doesn't seem all TOO phased about it, but there's a sort of slight guilt...maybe. Just maybe.]

[The wall is crumbling, dust everywhere, yeah...it's sort of a mess in her room right now and probably a mess in the other room next to her...whoever that may be.... ]

Ummmmm, whoops! Hey, so, who do I gotta call around here to fix these darn holes? Eh, heh...!

but he's inside now, big eyes scanning slowly and with growing worry. he can hear her awkward giggle from her room and follows it.]

It has to do with the world's timeline. Some worlds are farther along in their technological development than others. Some are already traveling through space, while others are still using swords.

[He'll find himself being lead into her room where the smoldering wall is still crumbling a little. She hears him entering and peaks in through the hole at him.]

he blinked, looking utterly baffled by the two extremes before him: giant, gaping, smoking hole of doom. chipper, smiling girl.

when his teeter-tottering gape finally stops on Lash, it's a very blatant question.

Yeah, Black Hole! It's pretty fitting, if you ask me! We sucked up all the resources of Wars World and obliterated everything in our path! Teeheehee! Kaboom!

[Then she sighs, looking a little miffed suddenly.]

It's tooooo bad we had to call it quits. The stupid higher-up jerks tried to kill us!

[She just keeps on grinning! Her head and upper body are small enough to fit through the hole and she rests on rim of it, propping herself on her elbows.]

Geez, what's with you? Cat got your tongue? I saaaaaid HEYA!

[he starts to flush, his mouth tugging out of surprise and into an uncomfortable frown. a hand goes to his head, dragging back against his scalp as he takes a breath, working to shake off the initial shock.

he advances toward the hole, starting to turn so he can glance back to see if there's the start of another hole in the wall parallel because holy crap. the hand, a fist, drags knuckles down the side of his face and drops as he stops, staring at the cooling ring of melted wall and, ultimately, the girl occupying it.

this is weird. she's totally OK with it.]

I've heard that story before. It never does seem to end very well.

[ And her next comments just seem to confirm that. ]

I'd be more inclined to feel sympathy for you, but it always seems like human nature always proves too much when it comes to groups like that. It's too common of a scenario to be that surprisingly to me anymore.
