It doesn't look like this winter's going to go away anytime soon, so I've got a question.

Any advice on how to keep a cold-blooded person warm aside from bundling her up layers upon layers of clothes until she sinks in the snow from the sheer weight of it? I think she'll have trouble moving after a while too.

She'll probably be okay but she got really cold in a winter-based amusement park attraction once. It's worrying. ( ´△｀)

That aside the real reason I'm posting this is because I have no idea how to celebrate people's birthdays but my sister's is coming up next month (not that I'm not worried about you, friend).

She's never had a birthday party with friends before so I kind of want to get something together? Any advice would be nice and if anyone's friends with a MOMO KISARAGI, that's her. Her birthday's next month, so if anybody can drop by once it's planned or chip in...

I don't have a place yet either so ideas or offers on that would be nice. [He'd ask Flora or Kido if they could do it at their place but if it's planned right under her nose, even Momo would notice...]

When people have snakes and other cold-blooded animals, they generally do it with heat lamps. That might be hard to immediately rig up, but that's the best bet for you. That's a constant source of heat that doesn't go away or need tending like a fireplace.

Poor thing. Have you considered sharing body heat to stay warm?

i thought hair keeps you warm or something? like it keeps heat from coming out of the top of your head...

i'm not ruining the cake. though i guess it is for her. maybe it'd be fun to make a small cake just for her and a bigger cake for everyone including her. i could decorate them with one of those weird mascots she likes...

what if we have kano or mary take her out for the day while we get everything ready? mary's flowers might make cute decorations too. she'll think that's her birthday treat and then we get to surprise her.

[Kano and Mary are probably most useful as distractions for her. Plus it keeps them from helping with the food.]

LPs? Well, no matter. It sounds like she likes comedy. Your sister is a unique person, is she not? I've seen her around. Energetic and clumsy with interesting tastes. In that case you should fine something strange that reminds you of her.

Of course don't give it to her saying something like 'This creepy thing made me think of you.' That would be a stupid thing and probably upset her.

Also, no girl is ever too old for stuffed animals. Cute keychains and stuffed animals aren't a bad standby.

I don't really know a whole lot about cold-bloodedness, but doesn't that mean they can't produce their own heat? So instead of layers, which trap heat, it sounds more like she needs something that produces its own, like an electric blanket or something.

As for birthdays, though, if you want some fireworks or something like that, I'm your guy.

I think the best thing to do is have her stay indoors. Some ectotherms maintain temperature by generating heat through some behavioral mechanism but they aren't really suited for this weather. I guess as a last resort if she has to go outside, make sure she's generating a lot of heat by moving. It's not efficient by any means so until the snow clears, it would be best to avoid going outside.

I could make a cake if you need it-- or anything else! I'm not sure what else to do, though. Are you going to get her a present?

Well... I don't think we've reached the point where it's necessary for her to do that, and even if we do she's always with someone anyway. Like Kido or Momo.
