With the new year just a few days away, I was wondering what everyone's plans for the new year is?

Especially with regards to the ongoing situation with the United Earth.

And I understand that it's still a day early but... Happy New Year, everyone. I suppose that's one celebration we all must celebrate wherever we may be from.

I hadn't even really considered the new year here. But I suppose I did only recently arrive earlier this month. Did you have any plans for it, Flynn? I suppose a lot of people here might celebrate it, so maybe we could join in and learn about how they welcome in the new year. And Yuri too!

I haven't come up with any plans. I'm not sure either what my roommates will have planned either. Yuri is Yuri and would probably prefer to spend it without any sort of fanfare.

Yup. And as a result, my world's stories, and the idea of rules behind them... It's confusing to many. I'd think more people would object to my nature as a demon, created and destined to pursue the end of the world or die trying... But instead, I have a hard time being taken seriously.

I mean, I've been trying to be good here - I want to get back home as much as anyone, but morale is important too... But it never seems to stick.

It's... It's quite depressing.

Well, we can ask! And we can't leave Yuri alone if we go out to celebrate, that wouldn't be very fair. I'm sure he would have fun once we were there.

It's called making do with the situation we're in, Yuri. I know it's not ideal and I'm not keen on spending more time here either but we have Lady Estellise with us now and the least we can do is make her stay here as bearable as possible.

Yeah. Back home, I'm one of the bad guys. And I don't - near-literally can't - feel bad about that.

Out here, though, I don't have that inherent pressure. There's no Abyss, no master I serve... No cause, in the end.

This isn't the world I'm meant to seek the end of. And I won't let the United Earth do the dirty work that is supposed to be my kind's destiny. Thus, here, I'm on the side of good.

I was thinking that if nobody else has tried to do something for it yet I could find somewhere and at least give people somewhere to gather, if they wish to bring in the new year together.

Speaking of morales, maybe attending or organizing a party might help? You have bar, correct?

I'd be willing to offer my services too though I'm not sure myself what my friends have planned for the New Year celebrations.
