I cannot say much good about winter, and I never did care much for it. But the one good thing about it is that, while you're staying warm indoors, you might as well get an early start on spring cleaning.

All would be better without this wintry nonsense. Do you know how expensive electricity for heating can get over the winter? I sometimes think it truly is a conspiracy.

Of course it would be. It's cold, so people need more heat to keep them warm. So they either use more and make it more expensive that way, or the people supplying them raise the prices because they're counting on their customers not knowing how to make do without it. Either way it's more money out of your pocket.

Believe me, I know how to live without using more electricity through winter! If I had the plastic wrap I use at home here with me, I wouldn't have to sink any funds into preparing for this. There's not an option for me to waste money!
