Fili, I found a forge!

It needs...um...a lot of help. [He turns the screen to the forge, which has clearly been abandoned for some time, half buried in snow and ice and burnt out rafters, before turning it back to himself.] But I've asked around and no one's claimed it. It's just been sitting here. Can't believe we didn't see it earlier!

And for everyone else -- this is going to be a bit of a project. Any help you could offer would be great. We'll give you a discount on your first purchase with us! [Yes, Kili did just wink. Clearly he's in a good mood.] Trust me, once you have seen dwarvish metalwork, you won't want anything else. Very high quality, and Fi and I have been doing this since we were old enough to work a bellows. The sooner we get this running, the sooner we can start making anything you need -- weapons, tools, jewelry, even.

[The video feed shakes, and it seems like Kili's done some kind of little dance of excitement.] Fi, get over here!

What kind of help do you need?

to start with, we could use a hand clearing out all the snow and ice that's piled up. then we'll have to rebuild some of the walls and the roof

[And now that he can get over there, he will. When he makes it to the outskirts of town, he quickens his steps upon spotting his brother – at least, to the best of his ability whilst slightly hampered by a layer of snow to trudge through and a shovel ~~hopefully~~ in hand.]

A forge is always a welcome thing, especially with dwarves running it. I shall keep you in mind, should I need anything.

[Kili nods.] I was just thinking that myself. We'll take as much help as we can get, if you wouldn't mind helping clear out the rubble.

[Kili's already started to move some of the snow out of it -- using his hands. Which are now very cold and bright red.

He grins when he sees his brother, waving furiously just in case Fili couldn't see him.]

Took you long enough.

[He smiles slightly at that. He's not really sure if it's a compliment though...after all, is something considered a compliment if it's just fact that dwarves are excellent smithies?]

Good. My brother and I will be sure to make another announcement once we're ready for business.

[nod nod. He wouldn't have said anything if he didn't mean it. Although he's seriously side-eyeing the other face on the screen.]

It doesn't just need to be cleared out. The walls need rebuilding, and we want to add a second floor to it. There are...tools to find, ore to smelt...it isn't so simple.

[Her lip curls a bit. She is used to having such materials at her beck and call, but he is right -- there is not much of it here, let alone that which would match the ore her current armor was made of.

You have a grand design in mind, but I cannot assist beyond what I have extended. My blacksmithing skill is minimal, else I would complete the project in mind myself.
