Yes, for now. It seemed the right choice.

A few days more, I think. Not terribly long. [a slight pause.] You've made it down there already, haven't you?

A few days is a long time up there. And yeah, I was outta there first thing. Space is not my cup of tea. I'll stick to reading about it in comic books.

Is it better, then? Being there. Much has changed.

[vaccination]

It's cold as fuck, but yeah. I'd rather deal with the snow and ice than worry about space monsters and getting sucked into a black hole.

Just make sure you have warm clothes when you come down here, okay?

There may be none left here, but...I think I will manage. I can protect myself for a little while, until they can be found.

There's been snow there before, but not to such a scale. It will be something almost new.
