Hi.

First things first this isnt going to be a lecture. Tensions are high enough and Ive barely been here long enough to have the whole history down yet. (Working on it) Besides, you've already herd plenty of it. So this isnt about that.

I'm Doug by the way. Mostly I'm trying to figure everything out still, you know. That sort of thing. I'm a curious and openminded sort of person wich is why I have some questions:

1. Whats your favorite thing about being here?
2. And least favorite thing?
3. If you had to make up 1 rule what would it be?
4. Why's the coffee so bad & Are there vending machines (where)?

Youre right about that. When in Rome...well I know the Romans didnt actual do some great things but when in space do as someone who cant survive in space would do? [ That doesn't really roll off the tongue as well. ] Dont do anything that'll get everyone killed. Everyone can probably agree thats a good idea.

There were small dinosaurs inside the protective barrier they had put up. Harmless ones. Pretty fascinating, really. There were larger ones outside, but we were safe.

Some people have suggested we get a list of rules for our society to follow, but I think it could easily but summed up with "we're in this together" and "don't be a dick".

Yes and no. I mean I agree I think it should be that simple but dicks almost never think that they are dicks. You know? If there was a list of rules youd have to explain what you mean.

Yes yes, I guess we can afford to be just a bit more detailed. We can word them better, maybe add a few others, but we should keep it simple.

Simples our best bet if we want it done quick. It wont be perfect but as long as its something to work with. Could even just be 10 or so things in all I think.

This is something that should be worked on right away. We've got people locked up and tensions are running high. Order is more important now than ever.

Exactly! I agree with you. Completley. The sooner the better that way everyone has some reasonible guidelines protecting them. No society of people can function without some kind of structure Ive never heard of it happening.

We're never going to be able to implement anything complicated, but... Alright, honestly I have no idea where we even start with all of this. Considering how easily things around here shift, be it the people coming in and out, or our surroundings changing, or running off on week-long missions... I'm not sure how we'll keep everything straight.

Im not sure exactly. First you need someone to write it all down. Then you need people to vote on it or just agree. Once your that far it just needs to go somewhere anyone can see it. Thats assuming no one interferes in between steps too.

I want to help on this, but if it hasn't been obvious thus far, I'm no expert in law. But I am interested in making sure things get done around here in a timely and proper manner so we can get back to focusing on what our real issues are. You'd think that needing to fix our overall situation would be more important to people. I don't know about you, but I want Exsilium fixed so we can get back on the ground, so we can get back to working against the UE. I DO want to go home someday.

I completly agree. Id love to get off the moon back on solid ground. We're not the only ones, but its getting anyone organized enough to lay out step 1, step 2, step 3 thats tripping up the works. Even if we get down there tommorrow we'd probably want some code to fall back on, keep people honest.
