[Well, Chloe's no stranger to technology, and the netbook isn't really too different. It's not like her computer back home, but it works just as fine. She turns the camera on, quietly watching herself.] So. [Her voice is soft and unsure. She bites her lip and pushes a strand of blonde hair behind her ear.] Anyone else think this would make an excellent plot for a sci-fi movie? I can just see it now. It'd have to have a big budget, though.
[She gives a nervous laugh before looking away. This can't be happening. She can't be here. Tori and Simon are in danger, and who knows where Derek is. Unless...
Her hands play with the violet gem around her neck as she turns to look back at the screen.] My name is Chloe, and I'm wondering if maybe my friends might be here? We were in the same place, s-sort of. I'm really worried about them. Their names are Derek, Simon, and Tori. [Wait, what if these people work with the Edison Group. No, that would be stupid. She's already their prisoner, so she's not in any worse position.] Is there anyone here from the Edison Group or the Genesis II Project?

[Before she can turn off the camera, her head turns.] I'm... I'm sorry, sir. You don't have to yell. I'll move! [The screen jostles and the camera moves around, as if Chloe is getting up. Whoever she's talking to can't be seen at the moment. Or actually heard, to be honest. The video turns off then.]
