When it comes down to do or die, who do you trust here to make decisions to pull people through, and not leave people stranded high and dry, or freeze up and fall into inaction? People who keep their temper in heated circumstances. Ones who maybe aren't going to forget the bigger picture, even if that doesn't make it easy on the smaller scale.

I've got a few names myself! Blue, Kate Kane, Nathan Summers, Caesar Silverberg, Lenalee Lee, Xerxes Break, Gilbert Nightray, Jaime Reyes, Ashraf, Kang, Peter Quill, Donny, Armin Arlert, Chrono and Rosette, even Dick Grayson and Ahiru and Vanadi, of all people, would stand by you figuring things out.

it's a tradition, that's all. Mistletoe is for memories, but it's also an excuse for other things during the holidays. Only not many know that part, so I mostly talk about the memories part!

( She doesn't know what to say about the after everything. So she talks about the rest, moving past that, focusing on the light, happy amusements of the world. )

It's a kind of plant that grows on trees. You tie it up in ribbon and hang it in doorways and stuff like that! You don't have mistletoe?

[Any association between mistletoe and memories is a new one, for the younger Lee sibling, the eternally, fiercely-sheltered. We don't even need to mention other part.]

We have mistletoe. I've never taken much stock in it, though.

Why's that? It can be pretty fun, you know! It's got a nice color to it too... if you ask me.

Brother is quite good at making fun things-

I think brothers are supposed to be really good at that! Even if it's a pain in the neck a whole lot of the time.

He tries his best, but- causes a lot of problems for the Science Division. If he'd only behave responsibly more often...

I'm sorry, I'm sorry, it's just kind of funny! See, 'cause my mom was one, and I never really got why. Come on, I'm named Collette, my brother's Phillipe, you know? Berets and the rest make me think of baguettes and tiny cups of coffee or tea or something and cheeses and the Eiffel Tower. I'd like to meet your brother! Somehow. I mean, not that anyone -- well, no one wants people to be here, but -- well, you know!

[It is not often that Collette volunteers words on family— rather, it is rare that Lenalee affords Collette the chance to. She is at attention, now, holding her tablet in the gentlest of hands.]

I'm sure he'd like you. He's very good at making everyone feel like family.

I'm sure I'd like him too!

( Especially since she wouldn't be trying to date Lenalee.

Because a robot building older brother would be a force to reckon with indeed! She doesn't offer more right then, quiet on her own family. Some memories hurt more than others. )

I hope so! [ she is warmed through and through when talking about Komui, it's something the missing can't really touch, the idea of him ] He's very energetic and earnest, [ if ] if you catch him while he's awake.

What's he like when he's half asleep? ( She asks playfully, curious at the pointedness of phrasing catching him awake. Is it a tendency to overwork himself? She's seen that, in her own mother, and knows that can be difficult.

Like most anyone else, I imagine! It's when he's completely asleep that you may have some trouble. He's. [ wry ] A little difficult to rouse.

[For which she is glad; it makes phone-calls go easier when she is sure he is at rest.]
