Hello!

[when this video post starts, the focus is somewhere... around the top of her head. Colette's eyes widen as she notices that she's holding it too high, so the view suddenly jumps down (yep, she just over corrected). Nibbling on her lip a little, she tilts it higher again... perfect! Determined not to let the view vary she tries her best not to move it]

My name is Colette Brunel. I haven't talked to everyone like this yet, so... hello! It's really nice to meet you all.

I'm sorry to bother everyone like this, but I wanted to ask something. Even though we... don't live on Earth anymore [her gaze grows a mite somber as she talks about it] it still sounds like a very important world. A lot of people here come from Earth, and we're supposed to travel throughout Earth's history! I come from another world that is very different, so I would really like to learn more about Earth if I can.

And so... if anyone knows anything about Earth and has a little time to spare, I'd love to ask some questions! O-Or, if you would rather just tell me a few facts and not be asked any questions, that's okay too. Anything would be helpful.

[although, a thought strikes her] Ah! That doesn't mean that I don't want to talk to people if they're not from Earth. I'd like to hear about everyone's homes! They all sound really beautiful in their own way, and it would be nice to hear about many worlds.

[she pauses, and smiles sheepishly! She's not one to get shy, but she feels a little bad making requests like this when everyone is probably busy]

I'm from Earth! Well, not that one, another one, and I came here from 2002, but I'd be glad to answer some questions.

Ah, another one? How is yours different?

Oh, well, that's easy. My world was destroyed the the UE! The Initiative sent me home, but the UE was able to trace the signal.

[Elmer C. Albatross: about as subtle as a brick thrown at your face. he sounds awfully chipper, though.]

Otherwise, it's hard to compare. There's 1300 years of time from when I was alive, and here! It's like a whole other world in some respects. Quite literally, right now!

[ah... she frowns, looking incredibly guilty]

I'm... sorry.

[No frowning on his watch!] Hey now, it's alright! We'll get around to fixing it once things are running better here. I'm just glad the Initiative came back after they'd dropped me off, so I had somewhere to go. So smile for me, okay? No being sad about it.

[well she can't refuse a request like that, can she? she nods and smiles slightly]

You're right, together we'll be able to fix all of it.

[He smiles right back!] That's better! And you're right. Plus I know someone who's working on a plan to fix it already. We'll get there in time. For now, I like being here to meet all the people brought here from all over the universe. I have the Initiative to thanks for that as well!

That's a really strong thing for you to say. [it sort of... slips out, before she realizes that might be a really forward thing to say. she blushes]

I'm sorry if that's a strange thing to say.

It's fine! It's just how I feel about the situation. In the meanwhile, I just need to wait it out. I've got lots of time.

So what's it like where you're from then, if you're not from Earth?

I'm from a world called Aselia! It's not very advanced, compared to here. But... it's a really nice world, I love it a lot.

How lovely! Is anyone else from your home here, too? A few of my friends are here, which makes things really interesting.

Mm hm! A few of them.

[interesting?] Ah, would you mind telling me more about your friends?

Well, there's Huey, who's my best friend. I hadn't seen him in ages, so I was really surprised to see him here. Look for a bloke who looks far too pretty to be a bloke, with gold eyes, and that's him. He's quiet and will probably view you as an experiment, just to warn you. And then there's Monica, who the Initiative apparently brought back to life and sent here! Exciting, eh?
